The fish and fish innards are very delicious, look appealing, service is attentive, the eatery is clean
Recommended a good fish restaurant in Da Nang. Today's experience was truly wonderful. The Cha Ca La Vong here is very delicious, more authentic than the one I ate in Hanoi. The shrimp paste is top-notch, the catfish is very fresh. The utensils are clean. The staff are enthusiastic. Will come back many times.
The shrimp paste was sweet, the fish cake had very little dill and mostly onions, the staff poured a lot of oil and then left without coming back to stir-fry the fish, the restaurant wasn't very crowded but I called out repeatedly and the staff didn't come. Overall, a bad experience.
On my way to deliver goods to a customer in the late afternoon, feeling hungry, I dropped by this eatery and ordered a portion of fried fish cake to fill my stomach. My first impression was that it's a restaurant, but the tables and chairs were cleaned and wiped very clean, not greasy. The portion had crispy fried fish cakes stir-fried with scallion heads, dipped in shrimp paste beaten with lemon until frothy, served steaming hot, with a smooth and rich dipping sauce that was incredibly delicious, each bite refreshing the mind. However, the restaurant gave a bit too little dill; when I asked for more, the staff said they ran out of herbs, making the meal less complete. On the flip side, the price was extremely affordable and budget-friendly; next time I pass by, I'll visit again.
I originally really like cha ca la vong, so whenever I go to Vietnam, I find a restaurant and eat it. It's so delicious ㅠㅠ It's a relatively expensive dish locally, so the restaurant is clean, and although the staff can't speak English well, they explain diligently using a translator~~ Also, the gray sauce, mam tom, is for advanced users? It's exclusive, so ask for nuoc mam sauce and be sure to eat it together with nuoc mam sauce. It's insanely delicious…!!
This is a restaurant that cooks catfish. According to the menu description, it is Hanoi cuisine. There are fried and hot pot-style dishes, and the texture is thick and good. However, the fried catfish and vegetables are stir-fried a bit more at the table, and since a lot of oil is used, it is somewhat greasy. For reference... there are no tourists, and it is almost full of Vietnamese people, even up to the second floor.
If you're tired of the usual pho, bun cha, and banh xeo, try the catfish fry that gives you a local feel. At first, the smell was a bit intimidating, but I enjoyed it deliciously.
It is a type of catfish, served as fried fish and soup. The taste was good, and the restaurant cleanliness was also fine.
It's different from the cha ca I had in Hanoi... The fishy smell is strongㅠㅠ
The fish here is very delicious, everyone, the meat is tender. My parents only like to eat fish, so they have tried many different types of fish with varying quality, and my parents really like the catfish here.
Also quite delicious.
Nice space, has a Hanoi vibe, located right in the center of Da Nang so easy to find, the catfish is quite okay, the porridge and fish spring rolls are also worth trying because they are quite unique and delicious.
The best dishes are fish cake and fish innards, the fish hot pot is a bit bland, not too rich and excellent. The eatery is crowded so the staff is a bit clumsy but not too bothersome. There is air conditioning but it's still a bit hot.
The service quality is very bad!!! I am a regular customer of the restaurant, having eaten there at least 3 times. The food quality is good, however, the service quality is very bad. When seeing customers, the staff still dawdle, deliberately ignore customers, do not come to the table immediately, making customers call many times before they come. When customers order, they respond very curtly and annoyingly, without advice or polite address. Payment is also very bad: when the table requests to pay, they say in a very unpleasant tone, "Ma'am, go to the counter to pay," while it is entirely possible for the staff to come to the table to process payment, and there is a QR code at the table, or there could be a friendly and hospitable way to guide. I would like to give feedback to the restaurant & hope the restaurant will take it in and improve the quality!
Familiar eatery, finished eating everything before remembering to take a photo. This time coming back, suddenly noticed the price increase:)))
The food is delicious, however, the staff's attitude is unpleasant, especially the female bartender. Review after dining at 7 PM on April 5th.
Poor service attitude: booked a table in advance but didn't prepare it, when we arrived they placed the bowls and plates as if throwing them onto the table for customers. When serving dishes, they didn't introduce them, didn't set the table, etc. During the meal, they didn't clear the table or anything, turned on the stove without asking, pointed the lighter flame toward the customer's face, the staff had a scowling face... in short, the attitude was very poor.
My company often goes to this eatery for lunch, with groups of 2-8 people. The fish intestine, hot pot, and salad are all delicious, but it feels like the portions are getting smaller. I always book a table in advance, so I don't have to wait. Lunchtime is always crowded, so waiting for dishes takes a long time...
I went early so it wasn't crowded, and since I was alone, I just ordered the signature catfish dish to eat 😚 very satisfied <3
The restaurant is clean. It has 2 spacious floors. Service is fast. Staff are friendly. Good advice.
Service is slow, tables and chairs are not wiped, customers have to wait a very long time, they blame it on being busy, customers are the ones at fault.
I have eaten Cha Ca La Vong in Hanoi before, but this dish here is prepared very deliciously, the catfish is firm and chewy, with moderate fat. The shrimp paste is also excellent. A portion is very generous at a price equal to Hanoi's. The staff is lovely and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. I will come back many times to try other dishes.
The food is okay However: I sat at table number 5 near the door on the first floor. Around 5 PM on January 6th. While I was dining, 3 staff members stood at the door talking very loudly (about football, car racing, blah blah). At the payment counter, the person in white shirt (probably the manager) scolded the other staff about the wet restroom and wearing slippers. Such an atmosphere and behavior made me feel unsatisfied with the meal.
Delicious food, suits the taste
