This is a regular spot for my husband and me~^^ We've been here over 10 times, and it's a restaurant we visit every time we go to Da Nang~ㅎㅎ The boiled pork is really delicious, but I think it's best in the morning~ㅎㅎ Going around opening time, it seems they just boiled the meat—the skin is crispy and the meat is moist. I've always thought it was tasty, but this time was the best. We usually had breakfast at the hotel and went for lunch or dinner, but this time we stayed at an Airbnb with no breakfast, lol. The part-time staff don't speak English well, so communication is hard—showing pictures is the fastest way~ㅎㅎ About 3 years ago, my husband and I ate the same dish at a high price—it was about 20,000 won per person... That was our first time trying it, and since we found it delicious, my husband looked for a local restaurant and found Donald. Some may like it or not, but those who love meat will enjoy it because the meat is tasty, and those who love greens can enjoy unlimited servings. Even if you eat your fill, it's really cheap~ㅎㅎ There's no air conditioning at the entrance; you have to go inside for AC, but it's not cool~ㅎㅎ Better not go during the hot midday~ㅎㅎ There are two sauces: if you can handle fishy, go for the salted shrimp sauce; if you're like me and can't, mix nuoc mam sauce with lots of chili~~ dip generously. Tear off a sheet of rice paper and stick it on the rice cake? The rice cake will stick to the paper—no need to tear it by hand~^^

There is a separate sink for washing hands inside, and the store is spacious. They also check and refill the vegetables from time to time, and they are fresh!! I really like the green mango🥭. I will go again.

Order via QR code, and bring your own vegetables and sauce. It's a style where you place one dry and one wet rice paper, add vegetables and meat, and dip in sauce.

Delicious food, but there was an ant in my water glass. The iced tea had a lot of water in it. Even though the restaurant wasn't that crowded, it took a long time for the food to come out. We wanted to sit inside where there was air conditioning, but we had to sit outside. And we didn't drink a liquor called "Bohuk" either. Except for the staff, the food is delicious. The vegetable buffet is excellent.

The meats are pre-boiled, so they're not warm. The pork is edible, but the beef is tough and not good. Some pork doesn't have a gamey smell, but some does, lol. With this space, Donald Trung can accommodate many types of customers - groups - families - friends with various group sizes. The staff are numerous and work very quickly. Tables and chairs are arranged to be easily joined or separated. The menu is simple, focusing on the restaurant's main dishes. I really like the roasted pork, beef brisket, and bánh nậm (steamed rice cake) here, with reasonable prices. However, the beef brisket I ate yesterday was cut too thick and large compared to previous times, making me feel full and tired from chewing. Besides, the rice paper here is quite thin and small compared to the size of the meat and vegetables. Every time I roll, I have to use 2-3 pieces of rice paper spread out. (Just a small suggestion). The roasted pork is always delicious. What I believe both I and all customers here love is the super satisfying vegetable buffet counter, which is continuously refilled and offers a variety of vegetables (lettuce - mint - cilantro - fish mint - perilla - water spinach shoots - cucumber - mango - shredded water spinach stems). However, because the vegetables are sold in large quantities and continuously, please note to pick out the leaves of mint and fish mint before eating. The dipping sauce here is also quite balanced, neither too bland nor too strong, and fragrant. There are ground chili and lemon separately for everyone to adjust to taste. Overall, everything is very clean and pleasant. It is a suitable place for both tourists and locals.

I ordered: - Regular fermented anchovy noodle soup: Only has roasted pork, the full bowl has 2 types of meat. 1 portion is generous, both noodles and meat are plentiful, roasted pork is delicious, fermented anchovy sauce is just right, not too salty, fresh vegetables. - Rice paper rolls with pork: 4 options: Boiled, roasted, pan-fried, beef brisket. I tried Roasted and found it delicious, the pan-fried one is a small plate of meat, quite crumbly, so the Roasted looks much better, MUST TRY. 1 portion is quite large including rice paper, wet rice paper, meat, vegetables. The roasted meat portion is quite large, crispy skin, dipping sauce is great. There is a separate vegetable counter with many types: Mango, cucumber, perilla, lettuce... quite fresh, refillable. - Salty plum calamansi juice: Sweet, very sweet 🫠 when the ice melts it's less sweet but loses flavor, not recommended. 1 big downside is the service is very very very slow, I sat down at the table for 20 minutes and still no staff took my order + set up bowls and plates, went to find staff to get food myself, they told me to wait at the table and waited forever just to get the menu, the good thing is that once I got the menu, food came in about 20 minutes, so-so. Not for those who are in a hurry and don't like waiting.

My wife and I went during the holiday and stopped by to try it based on reviews. We arrived at 10 to 10, there were a few tables of customers, the staff was very numerous but no one greeted or guided us. After a while standing there confused, a person who looked like a manager came and led us to a table. The food was average in my opinion, but the fermented fish dipping sauce was really spicy. I can handle spicy food so I forced myself to finish it, but my wife couldn't eat much. The restaurant should have a dipping sauce without chili so that tourists or children can eat it. The meat was almost all not cut through 🥲. I didn't think that a large restaurant with many staff right in the center of Da Nang city would be so lacking in management. The restaurant should review its service process and customer feedback, since after all it gets reviews for tourists.
