2024 update: still excellent. What Ba Huong lacks in variety, it makes up in execution. It does sliced pork with fresh herbs wrapped in rice paper exceptionally well. The dipping sauce of fermented fish sauce with pineapple is pungent, and addictive. Very consistent. Inexpensive. Full lunch for 4 people (incl beers and drinks) was under $20 total.

Habe heute zum ersten Mal Bauchspeck nach Vietnamesischer Art gegessen. Es war so lecker und satt wird man auch. Solltet ihr nach Da Nang kommen und Lokales Essen probieren, schaut dort unbedingt vorbei.
The pork and its sauce are very delicious. Love it when it comes together with crispy fried shallots. The beef is so-so.

Nice to try the local specialty of Da Nang and had super kind staff that showed us how to eat the food. The sauce however already smelled a bit wrong to me so I didn’t eat too much of it. This feeling was confirmed when my friend got sick a bit later and she’s quite sure that it is because of the fish/shrimp sauce.
