The broth lacks depth, was bland so I had to add fish sauce and several pieces of lime to give it some sort of acidity. The cow tongue wasn't tender, the meats were ok nothing exciting. The veggies were really skimpy. They even put will charge 5.000 for extra veggies. They don't even give you enough for one bowl. Only came here cause our favorite spot Bun Bo Hue Ba Xinh was closed for vacation. It was pretty busy so I was excited it would be good. Not impressed, won't come back. Seriously veggies are so cheap, stop being so damn cheap! Must have a ton of MSG because I've been drinking water non stop! I've drank at least 1 liter of cold ice water since I ate it for dinner.
I do not recommend this eatery to anyone. I don't understand how these Northern owners dare to hang a sign saying Huế beef noodle soup. This is a bowl of Saigon beef noodle soup. The broth has a strong shrimp paste smell. Thin slices of meat and bean sprouts like this are expensive at 45k. The owner speaks quite rudely to the shipper. The clatter of baskets and trays is noisy. Who are these Michelin inspectors, do they know how to evaluate? The Michelin Guide 2026 is really nonsense.
Traveling to Da Nang right when the eatery was listed in the Michelin guide, so I went to eat there. I went for dinner. As soon as it was brought out, I ate it, but the broth was only lukewarm, not hot at all. For two people, only one small plate of raw vegetables was served. The only impression was the large bone pieces, but the broth didn't suit my taste. The crab spring rolls here are not the homemade type. In short, I shouldn't follow the Michelin guide to eat anymore.
It's also okay to eat
This is the best Bún bò Huế I have ever eaten. It comes with plenty of tenderly simmered beef, making it very satisfying. When you come to Da Nang, please come and try it.
Delicious beef noodle soup, rich broth, soft and crunchy tendons, beef bones simmered until tender and flavorful, pre-blanched vegetables. Absolutely delicious.
It's a truly local restaurant, so the place is full of locals, and they order a lot of delivery. The king ribs are whole, and the broth tastes like galbitang with a sour twist. On the first day, I ordered just the bone-in ribs at the restaurant, and on the second day, I ordered the special for delivery. The special has various meats, fish cakes, and blood sausage in addition to the ribs, making it even more delicious. If you don't like the hygiene of the restaurant, order delivery.
First of all, if you don't like local food, don't read reviews and just go eat at a hotel. After traveling all over Vietnam for 15 years, I have to say you should abandon the prejudice that Bun Bo Hue is only delicious in Hue. Just like Bun Cha is not only delicious in Hanoi but also in Cao Bang and Ho Chi Minh City. First of all, this place might not be a huge hit with locals because it caters to Korean tastes. Places with high Google ratings all have Korean-style flavors. First of all, the prices here are out of this world. The special is 68,000 VND, which in the city center would be at least 100,000 VND. The amount of meat is also enormous. The food is a bit salty, but since it's hot, eating a little salty is a characteristic of Vietnam, or rather Southeast Asia, haha. Also, if Koreans add a little chili and chili powder seasoning, it becomes spicy and awesome. And they are very friendly. If you're in Da Nang, don't go to other Korean-style pho places; it wouldn't be bad to come here and try it once.
I saw it on YouTube and went there, and it was delicious. It was a really huge king rib that looks like it came out of a cartoon. :) Don't expect a neatly trimmed king rib. My wife said it was a bit too fatty and the size was too big, making it overwhelming. Still, we enjoyed it. The special comes with blood jelly, and the broth tasted no different from the king rib pho. It was nice to be able to eat a special pho with good value for money.
Special king rib Bun Bo Hue 68,000 VND. Peach juice 15,000 VND. Great value for money! The rich broth is a bit salty but goes well with the noodles and meat. The Bun Bo Hue I had in Hanoi felt richer, but this place is cleaner compared to others. It's a rich version of Korea's famous galbitang broth. The separately served cilantro, bean sprouts, and banana stems should be added while hot and lightly blanched for the best taste. For the first two or three spoonfuls, enjoy the broth as is, then add fish sauce, chili, pickled onions, and lime for enhanced flavor. Even one spoonful of minced chili is sufficiently spicy. It's fun to customize the broth to my taste. The peach juice I had after the meal was refreshing. A great meal like this for about 4,000 won—who wouldn't recommend it?
It's a local favorite restaurant, but it really suits the Korean palate. It has a slightly sour taste, but it goes so well with the king ribs. Personally, I think the Mixed Dak Viet noodles are more delicious because they contain blood tofu. I went back recently and the price has gone up a bit, but it's still good value for money. The male owner with glasses can speak English.
This place is located in an area frequented more by locals than tourists, so it is used more by locals. Naturally, since the food is delicious, there are many people. In particular, the galbi noodles are not only tasty but also cheap and have large portions, offering great value for money. However, for foreigners, there may be a slight unique aroma that could be hit or miss, but the aroma is not strong, so I think more people will like it.
Local vibes and taste were good~ Satisfying and filling for breakfast~ Visited 3 days ago~ Will visit again after going to Hoi An~~😁
It's the best rice noodles I've had in Da Nang👍 The meat seems like it would be tough, but it's not and it's delicious! The noodles are round and plump, which is unique. The broth is also good! The owner is kind, I enjoyed the meal😁
It's a rich rice noodle soup with a meat broth base, featuring meat served on the bone that looks like it came out of a cartoon. It's delicious when you add pickled onions and peppers..🤤 The broth has a thick texture, so I, being a vegetarian, left a little, but my companion finished it all. The owner is a bit prickly, and you have to overlook the hygiene a little, and it's very noisy because it's in front of the main road, but isn't this the vibe of a famous Vietnamese restaurant? ㅎㅎ
Local pho. Giant rib pho. Really delicious~~ Price is also cheap.. The downside is the air conditioner.. But it's coverable by the taste or price. Seriously, if you try it once, you'll think 'I should have come twice'.. It's so delicious that you'll think that.. It's the first food I'll eat when I visit Da Nang next time.
The visual and taste are worth visiting at least once. It's not quite a famous restaurant, but it's okay for Korean tastes. The staff are very perceptive, so even if you don't speak the language, they handle everything promptly.
It's worth visiting, delicious, and business is doing well. However, it wasn't a huge impact.
If you happen to pass by nearby, it's okay. A different kind of bun bo Hue and bone-in noodle soup. The meat is like galbitang meat, I'd say. 70k. Good value for money.
The rib noodles are delicious!^^ I heard about it and came to eat, and it's tasty!^^ I'll stop by again next time!^^
The baby goat shop is so cute
Expensive, expensive, expensive but delicious
The owner is visibly annoyed
The flavor is also quite delicious, but its appearance is a bit weird, oh my.
