Services in Da Nang in general are... are bad

A very, very, very bad experience. From the service to the owner, the attitude was very rude. We waited 30 minutes to order, items were missing, they deliberately ignored us and didn't handle it, then served the table that came after. Everyone should avoid this place to avoid feeling uncomfortable when visiting Da Nang city.

It's delicious, Quang Nam style. Vegetables are fully provided; ordering more doesn't cost extra. I love the steamed mackerel scad dish.

An un-ordered menu item came out, and I unknowingly ate a piece, so I just paid for it. Communication was difficult, so it was useless to say anything. I clearly ordered by pointing at the menu with my finger, but they brought grilled pork belly and a boiled pork platter. In the end, I had to eat a total of three menu items. The taste was just so-so.

I learned about this eatery from the homestay owner's recommendation. It's located on a street with many restaurants. Our group ordered Quang noodles, grilled pork spring rolls, fish spring rolls, and all the dishes exceeded expectations. The space is spacious and airy, and the owners are super friendly.

The dish is also okay. Not to the level of very good.

Đại Lộc rice paper rolls with pork is a fairly familiar spot for those who enjoy rolls with authentic Central Vietnamese flavors. The eatery is located on a street front, easy to find, with a relatively airy space, suitable for dining with family or a group of friends. The biggest plus of the eatery is the quality of the meat and vegetables. The meat here is prepared quite meticulously, looks appealing, and when eaten, you can clearly feel its tenderness and sweetness. Notably, the eatery offers both boiled and roasted meat, both of which are worth trying. The boiled meat is tender, not dry, while the roasted meat has crispy skin, with the lean part inside retaining moisture, making it very enjoyable to roll with rice paper. The accompanying vegetables here are fresh and diverse, washed clean, and presented neatly. Rolling rice paper with meat and vegetables, then dipping it in fermented anchovy sauce is the kind of "love at first bite" that keeps you wanting more. The fermented anchovy sauce is well-balanced, not too pungent, and suits many tastes.

Oh, it's good. After watching countless TikTok review clips of this place and that place, I decided to choose this place. The price is okay, cheaper than some places in Con Market 😋 The crispy skin is delicious. The dipping sauce is just right. 4 people ordered 3 portions of crispy skin, 1 portion of boiled meat, 1 herring salad, total 380k, about 100k per person. I recommend everyone to order the crispy skin. The shop is busy, the staff are lovely.

The rice paper rolls with pork and mackerel suited my taste. The dipping sauce was fragrant, not too salty, the fresh herbs were good, and there were additional noodles to wrap in the rice paper. On sunny days, customers can sit in the air-conditioned room (surcharge of 5k per dish). The downside is that the parking space for cars is tight; if it's crowded, you have to park around the area. Also, sitting in the room across the street is a bit far from the kitchen, and there's no regular staff there, so ordering more herbs or pickled mango/cucumber can easily be forgotten 🥹. I asked for extra items but by the time I finished eating, they still hadn't brought them out 🥲. I noticed a bell on each table, so for those who don't mind, you can ring it multiple times—that should be fine...

I ordered 2 portions of chicken Quang noodles to take home. The rice paper rolls were quite okay, lots of fresh herbs, fresh and hot meat, but the dipping sauce was a bit too salty for me. The chicken Quang noodles were also quite tasty, but a bit too oily and colorful; if the shop cooked with less coloring, it would be better.

Pros: enthusiastic staff, willing to help, even asked for bones to take home for the dog. The steamed fish rolls were delicious, the dipping sauce was good, and the fresh herbs were diverse and fresh. Cons: I have never seen such bad Mì Quảng Gà (Quang-style chicken noodles) anywhere; the chicken was scarce and not flavorful, because they used factory-farmed chicken, so it was mushy and terribly fishy. I left the whole bowl, only picking out the meat for the dog. When I arrived, I saw a group of tourists leaving and leaving behind their bowls of Mì Quảng; I thought they were full, but later I understood. I will not return and will not recommend it to friends.
