I have eaten at many restaurants, but to come back, I choose Xuyen. The food is always fresh and delicious, beautifully presented. Although the restaurant space doesn't have private rooms for families, I find it okay!!! My child really likes the food here. My family has also eaten in Japan, but we still find the flavors at Xuyen very suitable.

For me, if food is handled carelessly and unhygienically, even good service won't make me come back, because eating won't be enjoyable anymore. I've been to Xuyen Sushi quite a few times and was initially quite satisfied. The food was fresh, the staff were gentle and polite. However, after many return visits, I started noticing recurring issues, especially in the kitchen, hygiene, and customer feedback handling. Regarding the food, the sashimi was fresh but the salad was a bit greasy because it used the same type of dressing. Notably, once I ate a spoiled tomato in the salad, another time I ordered the mixed fried platter and the batter wasn't fully cooked—when I bit into it, the inside batter was still raw. Most notably, there's a hygiene issue—the decorations on the sashimi set often had handprints, not clean. When I discussed with friends, I learned they had even worse experiences, such as finding a decorative wine bottle with a moldy label placed right next to the food. The restroom is also a downside. Generally not too bad, but a bit damp and not really clean. What disappointed me the most was the way the restaurant handled feedback. When I pointed out issues with the food, the staff only apologized quickly without any action to clarify the problem or improve. This is similar when reading admin responses on review platforms—the apologies seem mechanical, more like placating customers than genuinely caring about making changes. As someone working in the service industry, I understand what a sincere apology is, and what I received here was not convincing. Additionally, the cashier and management staff seem quite young, sometimes not really serious during their shifts. I fully support a comfortable work environment, but if customers can hear stories unrelated to the dining experience, perhaps they should be more restrained. I hope the restaurant will improve in the future.

I've never eaten sushi anywhere as cheap and fresh and delicious as this. The restaurant deserves 1000 points for its good quality relative to the price and its super friendly customer service. I'm a tourist but I had to come here to eat twice. I will definitely come back to Xuyen if I have a chance to visit Da Nang. Hope the restaurant opens a branch in Hue.

The restaurant has beautiful decor, a cozy atmosphere, and prices suitable for all ages. The food is fresh and delicious, but the fried rice is a bit too oily and quickly becomes greasy; if the restaurant drains the oil more, it would be fine. Additionally, what impressed me when coming to Xuyen is that the staff take very good care of customers; I give the restaurant a 10 for this. When I left, a staff member enthusiastically asked if I enjoyed the meal. I will return to Xuyen another time, so I hope the restaurant will always maintain this level of service.

The space is lively, suitable for hanging out with friends, family, and company. The staff are very enthusiastic and supportive. The food is okay. The day I ate, the fish wasn't very fresh, the tuna had a slight smell, and the shrimp was a bit mushy. The sushi rice was a bit too much for my taste; I prefer it a bit more sour. The price is also okay, reasonable. Still a plus point for the enthusiastic staff ✨☺️

The restaurant has a 2-floor space. I've been eating here since the old location; now that it's moved here, the space is spacious, beautifully decorated, and more airy. There's no debate that this is the most delicious, nutritious, and affordable among the Japanese restaurants I've eaten at. I've tried almost the entire menu. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly and lovely. If you don't need a change of scenery, just come to Xuyen to eat.

The food here is quite delicious, with reasonable prices. What I crave the most is the salmon sashimi, herring, and rolls here, which suit my taste with just the right portion size!

I didn't make a reservation. So I had to wait a bit (10 minutes) for a free table while I chose what to order from the menu. They seated me on the second floor. For the first time I tried real soy sauce, unusual, sometimes I ate rolls without it. Everything is delicious...

I've been eating at Xuyen for several years now, a regular customer of the shop, eating since Xuyen was still a small shop on the upper section of Phan Chau Trinh, now moved to a larger shop. Fresh sushi and the most reasonable price I've ever eaten. The menu has many dishes, I like to eat salmon belly, herring, salmon roe, etc. The rolls at the shop are also delicious. Impressive beef udon noodles with huge portions but the price is only 70-75k. Top quality.
