It's okay, but nothing outstanding yet.
Cooking taste is okay, price is a bit high
The shop has no signboard, the food is quite fresh, the preparation is okay. I went with two people so only ordered 3 dishes, haven't experienced everything, but the experience was terribly mood-killing because it was super super super slow. The shop serves in a family style, only 3-4 people including the kitchen staff, the shop was quite crowded so the service was terribly slow, each dish came out at least 30 minutes apart. I observed that most customers here had to go inside to urge, or serve themselves tables and chairs or get food. It was terrible, the shop should improve the service quality. The sidewalk shop is airy, but the price is like a restaurant and the service is family style. I dare not return if I don't have time to wait.

Our family of 12 came to eat. This is the second time and also the LAST time. The first time we came for lunch, the eatery only had 2 tables so the food came quickly, the seasoning was just right. So we saved the address for next time. This time we invited family guests to eat and it was so disappointing. EXTREMELY SLOW, I must say EXTREMELY SLOW. I understand it's a family eatery, only family members cook and serve, so there aren't enough people to handle it. With that number of staff, they can only serve about 3 tables or less. So if you happen to come when it's a bit crowded, be prepared. Honestly, we were eating, sitting and watching, sitting and yawning. So exhausting. Hic. Ordered a plate of fried noodles for the two kids and waited over an hour. The kids were hungry and sulking. When paying, I asked for a QR code to scan, but the mom said her son would go find the code, and the son went downstairs to get food and sat down to eat, while I stood there waiting. I don't get it. So, with no trained service staff, just family members improvising, it's hard to keep customers. As for the food quality, it was truly VERY DISAPPOINTING. The garlic butter sea snails were too salty, no butter flavor, just a few crushed garlic cloves. Honestly, it's worse than homemade. Hic. Compared to the first time, it's like night and day. The tamarind-coated mantis shrimp had no tamarind at all. I don't understand how the eatery seasons or cooks it—it's ridiculous. Shouldn't tamarind-coated be sour and sweet, with a bit of thickness to dip bread in? Here, they just marinated the mantis shrimp salty. No sour-sweet tamarind stir-fry at all. The scallops grilled with scallion oil were nothing special. Made carelessly. Not fragrant, tasty, or appealing like other seafood eateries. The price is not cheap at all. The bill was nearly 4.5 million VND, but we didn't get any good dishes, plus the exhausting wait. Truly not worth it. At this price, there are many other choices that are tastier and have much better service. Say goodbye and won't return. Inviting guests here was truly embarrassing with the guests :(((((

Never have I eaten seafood under such pressure. The service attitude was bad, looking down on customers when seeing them order little. The food was at an acceptable level, but the attitude was 0 points. The price was high but not worth it.
Too expensive, more expensive than other fresh seafood eateries I've eaten at. Medium-sized green mussels cost 170k per kg. 10 people ate two medium bowls, the eatery charged 2kg for 340k. Expensive, slow service, the kitchen is dirty. Ate once and dare not return. 10 people ate nearly 1.5 million VND but were still starving, had to drag each other to eat again.
The first time I came to eat at a place where the owner truly runs it out of passion: the eatery is located deep in an alley, and on top of that, there's no signboard, no menu either, and the tubs of seafood are hidden all the way in the kitchen—you'd have to pass by and still not know what they sell. The seafood isn't just fresh; it's still alive and swimming around lively. The variety isn't huge, but each piece is plump. The seasoning is quite tasty, very well-balanced, but there's a bit too little sauce so it's not enough for dipping. The price matches the eatery's style—delicious, quality, and cheap.

A family-run eatery. As a Hanoian, I went into the kitchen to pick ingredients and chat, and I could feel the honest and lovely nature of the aunties and uncles cooking. The prices aren't super cheap, just a bit lower than restaurants. But the ingredients are extremely fresh, especially the squid; the seasoning is even better than restaurants. My family couldn't take any photos because every dish was finished clean.
