Table 88

Stayed at the Sheraton Grand and popped into Table 88 for dinner. They also have a steakhouse and an Italian spot in the hotel, but I went with this one since they had more local Vietnamese options on the menu. The mango salad was the real winner—super fresh and delicious. I also had a chicken rice dish; it was okay, and the portions were actually pretty huge. Price-wise, you definitely pay that "hotel premium." Between the food and a large bottle of Perrier, it was nearly 1,000,000 VND. It’s what you’d expect for the convenience of staying on-site, but not exactly a budget meal. Service was fantastic—super friendly and fast, which honestly seems to be the standard across Vietnam. A solid, easy choice if you're staying at the resort and don't feel like heading out.

For numerous reasons, Christmas is a very special time of the year for me, which is why I always book a 5-star hotel to celebrate. Last year I celebrated at The Grill restaurant, which was out of this world, but this year Sheraton Grand changed the venue to Table 88. Please see my review below. Pre-arrival communication: - For every event I attend at the Sheraton Grand, I always liaise with Phuong Lee. She is friendly, professional and efficient! - Rating: 5/5 Hotel Arrival: - Last year, as soon as my taxi arrived, I was greeted by two gentlemen, who kindly opened the door for me, asked where I was going and directed me to the Grill restaurant. This is 5 star service! - Rating: 5/5 - This year, again, there were two gentlemen, but this time when I arrived, nobody opened my door and I didn’t receive the same friendly greeting as I did last year. This isn’t 5 star service! - Rating: 3/5 Lobby and Restaurant Decorations: - Some welcome drinks and canapés were provided, which were nice. - I’m very happy to say this year the decorations were the same as last year. Festive, Elegant and Classy. - Rating: 5/5 Restaurant Service: - Again, I’m happy to say the service I received was exactly the same as last year. Everyone was happy, friendly, professional and attentive. Exceptional! Thank you! - Rating: 5/5 Atmosphere: - Last year the live entertainment was Incredible! People were dancing at their tables and outside near the pool and when the brunch was due to finish, myself and other guests didn’t want to leave. - This year, the entertainment was extremely disappointing. Every table but mine and one other group who were celebrating a birthday was empty before 9pm. This is 90 mins before the event was due to finish. The live music stopped at 9pm. So since there was no live entertainment, no guests and no atmosphere, I also decided to leave early. Honestly, I can’t stress enough how disappointing this was! - Rating: 2/5 The Food: - Like last year, the variety of food was excellent, but unfortunately, this year the execution of some dishes just wasn’t good and certainly not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. - Beef Wellington: The pastry was soggy and the duxelles didn’t have an earthy, savory, rich taste. As one of the so-called star dishes, it was very disappointing! - Porchetta: Spicy and too much salt - Lamb: It wasn’t pink, it was raw. - Duck: Tough and overcooked. - Lobster: Not fresh and not good. - Desserts: Very Disappointing. - I also noticed other guests left quite a bit of food, so it seems I wasn’t the only guest who wasn’t satisfied with the way some dishes had been cooked. - On a positive note, the turkey was amazing and the prawns and sushi were fresh and delicious. - Rating: 2/5 (Again, not what you expect from a 5-star hotel, especially the Sheraton Grand) How much does Sheraton charge? - Price per guest: 1,788,000 ++ VND (Food) - Price per guest: 588,000 ++ VND (Drinks) - Total: 2,376,000 ++ With taxes and service charge, you’re paying over $100 per person. Note: The drinks package included unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks between 18:00 and 22:30. - Local Beers - White, Red and Mulled Wine - A couple of festive cocktails and mock-tails - Fresh Juices - Soft Drinks - Still water Summary: The disappointing food and poor entertainment/atmosphere ruined my Christmas! Table 88 offers an excellent breakfast and lunch buffet with a delightful mix of international and local Vietnamese dishes. The spread is impressively varied — from freshly made pho and banh mi to cheese platters, pastries, and juices. Everything is well presented, the ambience elegant, and service attentive. A great dining experience to start or end the day at the Sheraton Grand Da Nang.

Foods are amazing and the portions were amazing. They do have enough seats so no need to make a reservation to come. The staff are very nic and friendly. Vietnamese foods are good.

For me, this is the perfect spot in Danang to indulge in a fabulous breakfast. With a wide variety of delicious options—including Western dishes, Vietnamese specialties, and freshly baked goods—there’s something for everyone to enjoy. I’ll definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this restaurant!

This is the all day dining restaurant at the Sheraton Danang. Went here during our stay for breakfast. The place suffers from serious service lacunas and issues with food quality. From being suddenly asked to get our own coffee on our third visit to getting three people serve us coffee that we asked for only once, the service is all over the place. There is generally no one at the live stations who understands English to take orders. You will often end up with either the wrong order or something cooked wrong. The food quality is largely is on the lower side. I understand low quality on Indian food but low quality on vietnamese cuisine should be unacceptable. The place needs a serious look at by the management.

We enjoyed a birthday dinner at Table 88 Restaurant, where the service was excellent, and we received a warm welcome and attentive support from Mr. Vinh.

For me the perfect place in Danang to enjoy a fabulous breakfast. A lot of delicious choice… western food,Vietnamese food,bakery… all what you love. I will be back soon for sure! I highly recommend this restaurant

I am tourist from Malaysia. The Restaurant Manager Miss Thu recommended us to experience the SATURDAY night seafood buffet inclusive of the half lobster and half crab. We went in a group of 7 and had a wonderful experience for the night. The service given by the staff is very good they were attentive to our needs. Secondly, the quality of the food is of high quality. It was delicious , tasty and fresh. I will definitely return.

We stayed at Sheraton Grand Danang and visited Table 88 for buffet breakfast and seafood buffet (only available on Saturday evenings). The seafood buffet was very good value for money with lots of dishes to choose from - lobster (steamed or grilled), vietnamese crab, roast duck noodle soup, snail station, BBQ station, pan seared salmon and wagyu, sashimi station and dessert station. We choose the 1088,000 Dong package that included unlimited beer, cocktails, juice and soft drinks. Quick attentive service and delicious seafood! We highly recommend Table 88 for anyone staying at the Sheraton Danang or any seafood lovers in Danang!

Great hotel restaurant, diverse and fresh dishes, friendly service staff.

First of all, the staff were very friendly, and although the variety of food was not large, I could feel that they put more effort into it, so I enjoyed a quite luxurious and delicious breakfast.

My friends said the food here is quite delicious and beautifully presented. I had only heard about it but hadn't experienced it myself. And after entering the restaurant, being served by the staff, and ordering food, I indeed had a very good impression of your restaurant. The restaurant's design is beautiful and luxurious, creating a comfortable and cool atmosphere. The food was served quickly and presented beautifully. I noticed there was bread, but honestly, it's made better here than elsewhere. The flavor of the dishes is very palatable and rich. I like that. The service staff are enthusiastic and cheerful. If I have the chance, I will support you again next time : )))
