Great place to try the local specialty. It is mostly Vietnamese diners, with no frills and it doesn’t need any because the food speaks for itself. There are only two dishes, we tried both and ordered two more, the Cao Lau was the favourite. Very reasonable, tasty and a great experience in Hoi An.
Try the Cao Lau now! Super good, and super cheap, loved this place. I was the only foreigner there. Local local.
first meal in hoi an cao lau was really tasty. we ordered mi quang too but it fell short of our expectations we had cao lau again at another place nad a later date but confirmed this mini street area was still wayyy better in taste. tables and seats are your typical smalley things overall, if you’re a 🇸🇬 the mi quang tastes like a mix between your hokkien mee and prawn mee but more towards the bland side. cao lau on the other hand still can fall into the fishball/pork noodles but definitely the better and tastier option. first time here and we really felt that hoi an has also been in an era where cuisines are mostly fused in most dishes like a cross between viet, chinese, malay, thai, french and the west regardless of the shop owner’s original nationality
First time eat it and love it right in the first time. Will come back anytime. SUPER MEALLLLL💯💯

This might be where - and the night when - you realize that Hội An is also just a small town in Quảng Nam, and not only the magical charm that is Old Town: sitting on this bumpy sidewalk, locals to your left and right, eating some of the best (perhaps the best?) cao lầu and mì quảng you'll have in Hội An. Or, if you're a seasoned Vietnam traveler (no pun intended), this might be where you realize the difference between mì quảng in Đà Nẵng and mì quảng in Hội An, and finally understand what the big fuss about mì quảng is all about. Worth coming later at night, just for the more local experience (but also worth coming at any time, for the food by itself)!
Delicious, nutritious, and cheap Cao lầu
Delicious, everyone. I rarely compliment any dish as delicious, but here I admit the food suits my taste. The restaurant's space is also decent, able to serve about over 50 dine-in guests at a time. The staff are enthusiastic, but during peak hours the place is crowded, so please don't rush the restaurant!
Today I had a bad experience here. I ate with my grandfather. After eating, we sat and talked for quite a while, and honestly, the shop wasn't short of tables. My grandfather and I hadn't seen each other in a long time, so we talked a lot. We finished eating and paid in full. When we were leaving, a man from the shop? Not sure if he was from the shop, said: 'You only ate two bowls of noodles but sat talking for half a bowl.' Wait, can't I talk after eating? The man had a very bad attitude. The lady and the owner were warm and friendly. I've eaten here several times, but this time I encountered this situation. I think the man might not be from the shop, which is why he treated customers like that. The noodle flavor was good. But if I come next time and encounter this again, it's one star for sure.:)
It tastes like Italian pasta noodles that are harder and thicker, it's okay but not very impressive.
I haven't eaten much Mi Quang and Cao Lau, but this eatery is quite delicious, just right in flavor. I find Mi Quang tastier than Cao Lau hehe, and the price is also cheap, 30k/bowl, and the place is clean too.
Delicious, cheap, should try, everyone
Cao lầu and mì Quảng at Aunt Hat's are both delicious, 30k a bowl. I went to eat at 3 eateries, ate cao lầu at Ông Hai's mì nguội. Here it's served hot. I find it tastier.
Cao lau served with a good broth at the bottom, for 30,000 dongs. We even ordered a second one because it was so good.
Mi Quang and Cao Lau are delicious
The sidewalk eatery is introduced as long-standing, but I find this branch not to my taste, price 30,000 VND per small bowl. Business is average, not very welcoming.

This eatery is known by other reviewers. And confirmed that both cao lầu and mì Quảng are delicious! Rich in Quảng flavor!

Great local spot for mì quảng and cao lầu. I tried both and they were both the best I’ve had in Hoi An, better than expensive restaurants and even market stalls. Lovely people running the stand as well
