The old eatery we used to eat at moved, so we ate here temporarily. The prices are quite high, and the service is a bit grumpy. Rice paper and vegetables are free refills, food comes quickly, but the drinks we ordered never came; we finished eating and still hadn't seen them.
My go-to spot whenever I crave spring rolls with cabbage wraps is Mrs. Van's eatery. The spring rolls here are delicious, crispy, and fragrant with meat. I like the fish sauce here—it's just right, rich and not bland. As for the raw vegetables, they're okay. There was a time I ordered delivery and saw mostly broken leaves, and there were even leftover vegetables that someone had half-eaten but were put into my bag of veggies, so I hope the shop will reconsider😣😣. As for the seating at the shop, it's a bit messy with trash, so I don't like it much🙁. That's my honest opinion☺️🫶🏻. Hope the shop improves further.
Forget the fancy restaurants for a night. The best experience I've had so far is sitting on a tiny plastic stool on the sidewalk, rolling my own Ram Cuốn Cải. There is something so satisfying about eating with your hands. You take the rice paper, layer it with fresh lettuce, and then the star the hot, crispy fried ram. Roll it tight and dunk it into a sauce. You're right on the street, watching the world go, perfect way to step back from the noise, but somehow it feels peaceful once that first crunchy roll hits. Cx cx á 🙆♀️
If you're in business but begrudge the vegetables, then quit selling. Customers ate two plates and asked for more vegetables, you frowned once — there won't be a next time.
Buy 7 pieces for 28k but serve customers 5 pieces??? Didn't even ask the customer, selling in this messy way
I've eaten at H. Vân many times, but only recently noticed that leftover vegetables from previous customers are put back into the vegetable basket to serve to later customers :)). The spring rolls are delicious, but doing that makes me not dare to come anymore.
The first time I came to this Vietnamese eatery to try it out, the place was crowded but the service was EXTREMELY TERRIBLE. Customers dining in were made to wait a full 20 minutes while those who came later (takeaway customers) got their orders first :))) 10 spring rolls cost 40k. Anyone planning to eat at this place should consider this :)
The food is just okay, but it's always crowded every time I go. The quality of the vegetable platter is average.
The Vietnamese spring rolls were closed, so I went next door to eat. Just one word: Bad :))) very bad. A portion for 40k but the spring rolls came out with just a tiny bit. When you eat it, it's all rice paper, only a tiny bit of meat filling :)) eating it feels like being punched in the mouth.
A student eatery should have all the elements: delicious, cheap, and whether it's nutritious is unknown.
Delicious, so try it
Crispy hot ram, fresh vegetables but slightly lacking in variety, fish sauce is delicious
The food is a bit slow & might be forgotten ... everything else is okay.
The restaurant has extremely high-quality vegetable platters, truly living up to the name 'spring rolls wrapped in cabbage'. The cute and enthusiastic staff, the gentle owner. Long-term support.
Spring Cabbage Spring Rolls – An Addictive Street Food Delight in the Heart of Da Nang The first time my friend introduced me to the Spring Cabbage Spring Rolls eatery on Hai Phong Street, I was completely "knocked out" by the incredibly special flavor of this seemingly simple dish. Just a few small spring rolls, cabbage, cucumber, and a bowl of dipping sauce – yet one taste and you'll remember it forever! 🥢 Crispy, low-oil spring rolls – eat endlessly without getting tired The spring rolls here are fried to a golden brown, crispy on the outside, and generously filled with minced meat, vermicelli, and wood ear mushrooms. What I like most is that the spring rolls are not greasy; they are crispy without being cloying. 🥬 Spicy cabbage just right – rolling and savoring Each serving comes with spicy cabbage, lettuce, herbs, and shredded cucumber. The slightly spicy cabbage layer blends with the hot, crispy spring rolls to create a very satisfying sensation that wakes you up! 🥣 "Top-tier" dipping sauce A huge plus is the dipping sauce, which is perfectly balanced, rich, with a sweet and sour taste and a slight spiciness. You can ask for more if you want – and trust me, you'll want more! 🪑 Casual space, crowded but fast service A street-side eatery with simple plastic tables and chairs, but very clean and tidy. Despite the crowd, the owner and staff prepare the food extremely quickly, not keeping customers waiting long. Takeaway is available and packed very carefully. 💸 Surprisingly cheap For only about 20,000 – 30,000 VND, you get a full portion of spring rolls, filling and delicious without worrying about the price. ⸻ 👉 Summary: If you are a street food enthusiast or simply want to experience a Da Nang specialty that is both unique and delicious, then Spring Cabbage Spring Rolls – Hai Phong is definitely a place not to be missed. A simple, rustic dish but full of aroma, color, and flavor, rich in the essence of Central Vietnam.
Sidewalk eatery opposite 343 Hai Phong – Da Nang. The eatery is right on the sidewalk, with a cool outdoor space, suitable for visiting from around 4:30 PM onwards to avoid the harsh sun. The food here is delicious and cheap, a portion for 2 people costs only 40k. Fresh vegetables, served as a side dish that pairs well, the fish sauce is a bit salty but overall still okay. Ideal for a light meal before going for a swim at the beach!
Crispy spring rolls, generous filling, served with fresh raw vegetables and a well-balanced dipping sauce. Fast service, reasonable price, acceptable.
Ram Viet closed so I came here to eat temporarily, Ram Viet is better, here the ram is oily after eating, the plate is full of oil, Pepsi has no carbonation and isn't sweet either, completely bland, who would ever eat spring rolls with rice paper cut like this?
I ate at the Vietnamese spring roll place, the fried spring rolls absorbed a lot of oil, making them a bit greasy. The two of us ate 4 pieces and couldn't eat anymore. One portion of vegetables was quite a lot.
Crispy, piping hot. A generously filled plate of spring rolls, super satisfying.
Delicious. 10 pieces per person is a bit overwhelming. 10 pieces for 40k
