Excellent vegan spot in Da Nang. Every dish was unique flavor and the desserts were the bomb.

Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier absolut falsch! Die Apartments gehen Richtung Straße raus. Die ganze Nacht das Gehupe und der Verkehr! Des Weiteren hört man ständig den Wachmann nachts Husten oder Reden! Die Wände sind soo dünn, dass man meint, er würde neben einem liegen. Wir waren erst in einem 1 Schlafzimmer und der Boden war schmierig und abgerockt. Nebenan wohnt wohl ein Messie. s. Bild mit dem Totenkopf! In dem Zimmer in Tower A war es am allerschlimmsten mit den Geräuschen. Aber in Tower B ging es gleich weiter. Das Zimmer zur Strasse raus, ist fürchterlich. Es sind 2 "Fenster" eingebaut, wo die ganze Nacht das Licht von Außen reinscheint. Man kann es nicht abdunkeln. Zum weiteren Übel meint man, dass jemand reinkommt, wenn er da vorbei läuft. Es ist einfach nur laut! Frühstück gab es für 450.000 Dong!!!! Nachdem ich das gelesen hatte und man morgens erstmal ca. 7 Minuten über das ganze Gelände im Freien laufen musste, hab ich mich doch besser für Grab entschieden! Wir verstehen bis heute das Konzept nicht! Wenn man es wenigstens günstig als Apartement statt Hotel Apartment/ Hotelresort anpreisen würde. Dann weiß man, auf was man sich einlässt. Aber das "Hotel" ist absolut eine Katastrophe!

Perfect Peaceful space I send to gratitude to space

Looking for a room to have enough space for the family, I accidentally found a peaceful place. The special thing about this place is that it only serves breakfast, completely vegetarian, and has peaceful meditation sessions. On Buddha's Birthday, there is also a Buddha bathing ceremony. Very suitable for those who follow the religion and want a place to combine travel. When entering, the staff enthusiastically guide everything. The room is designed in a wabi-sabi style, so it is very cozy. It also has full kitchen utensils, dishes, a washing machine, and a drying area. Very suitable for families staying long days with little luggage. A bit far from the center but near Hoi An. You can book Grab to order food in because it is near the FPT urban area. The only sad point was one morning, the two little ones were too tired to get up. So my wife and I went to eat first; the staff all said they would support bringing some dishes to the room for the two kids, so they wouldn't have to go out (because each time you go from the accommodation to the dining area, you have to take an electric car). But only one chef, when bringing the food out, "emphasized" that the kitchen only supports this one time, because it is a breakfast buffet and there is no obligation to serve takeaway dishes. Initially, my wife and I also understood it was a breakfast buffet, so we didn't plan to take it back, but other staff asked why the two kids didn't come out to eat, and then they suggested helping to take it back. Yet one staff member (young) brought the food out with a displeased face and tone. If it were at other places, I would have rated 1 star for this, but because this is a peaceful place and all the staff follow the teacher and madam to spread goodness. So I won't let one staff member give a bad rating to this nice place. If anyone travels and doesn't mind being far from the center and wants to relax, they should choose this place. The beach is also very clean and beautiful.

I stayed for two days with my parents. No matter how much you hear about why Da Nang is perfect for a family trip, you have to experience it yourself to truly feel it! It was a trip that satisfied both my wife and me, who focus on relaxation, and my parents, who focus on sightseeing. One of the highlights was the Ocean Villa accommodation. Each villa has a private pool (though lower-tier villas don't...). There's an infinity pool next to the restaurant! And just a 2-3 minute walk from there is a private beach. It was really peaceful and uncrowded, almost like we had it to ourselves. Before going, when I researched Ocean Villa, I read that it's located between Da Nang City and Hoi An, so the surrounding infrastructure isn't developed yet, making it inconvenient. But I think I worried for nothing. Most meals can be handled at the White Caps restaurant within the villa, and after other sightseeing, you can buy things at K-Mart or Lotte Mart. It's actually quieter than the city or Hoi An, making it an excellent choice for a large family. Not only me but also my wife was very satisfied. My parents enjoyed walking around the resort in the morning and evening and were very pleased. Being located between Da Nang and Hoi An, it's actually the perfect distance to go sightseeing up and down. (Average taxi fare is about 10,000 to 15,000 won, with slight variations depending on the time.) Considering the time and distance, taxi fares are very cheap, and taxi drivers, who pick up more foreign tourists than local customers, are very familiar with tourist routes. From the inception, every staff member who cleaned had a very good impression. On the last day, we had leftover fruit, seaweed from Korea, and seasonings, so we gave them to the staff, and they thanked us dozens of times... It was almost embarrassing to receive such gratitude. The pool water is not stagnant; it's continuously pumped out 24 hours a day, so the water is always clean. (I've been to many resorts, but usually staff skim debris with a net or change the water once a day.) The only downside I found during my stay was... the quality of the amenities in the bathroom and the slow drainage in the bathtub. Apart from that, the Ocean Villa was truly 200% perfect. I hope my review helps those who are hesitating to book! 😁

I really have to give compliments to Tinh Vien Maha. The vegetarian restaurant is located in a secluded area within a high-end resort, with the sea right in front of it. The interior, architecture, and layout here are all very refined, with a subtle Buddhist touch. If you go at 6 PM, you can experience the bell-ringing ceremony. However, during the bell-ringing, you cannot order food. Everything here is perfect, from the dishes to the service. The menu here starts at 169k and above, of course higher than the average of other vegetarian restaurants, but it's worth the price. From the space, location, to the presentation of the dishes, everything is very, very good. The experience here is very special to me. The dishes are elegantly presented, flavorful, and just right. The atmosphere here is so tranquil that you will leave all your worries behind.

MAHA MANGALA – PEACE AMIDST THE BAMBOO GARDEN AND THE BEST VEGETARIAN MEALS IN VIETNAM Sometimes, we just need a place to stop – truly stop. A place where, as soon as you step in, all the noise inside naturally settles. For me, that place is Maha Mangala. Maha is not just a vegetarian restaurant. Not just a resort. Not just a destination. But a living space – a place for body and mind to rest – a peaceful garden amidst the hurried life. There, there is the Binh An tea room, where you can sit amidst the cool green bamboo garden, listen to the gentle wind rustling through the leaves, sip a cup of hot tea, and watch the slow passage of time. Everything is designed to remind us of simplicity, of the tranquil beauty we often forget. The vegetarian food at Maha, in my own perception, is the best in Vietnam. Not because of extravagance, but because of refinement – from the selection of ingredients, preparation, to each dish, all carry clean, pure, and loving energy. Eating here is not just to fill the stomach, but to 'fill the heart.' I have returned to this place many times, have sat with others listening to the bell in the early morning, meditated under the moonlight, eaten mindfully, and found myself... healed. Maha is a rare place where I believe: Just one day staying here, the body will lighten, the mind will calm, and the heart will be more grateful for life.
