Great restaurant in the old town close to the river. Great view from the 1st floor. Between 13-19, they have a happy hour 1+1 free promotion for wine and beer.
It's a great place to rest when you're tired, and you can also take photos on the balcony. Plus, the food is good and inexpensive.

Nice food but can be better for this price range
Delicious food, beautiful riverside atmosphere, and outstanding service! We arrived very late, just before closing time, after searching for an open restaurant. Our waiter, Fry, was extremely kind, patient, and welcoming. Even though they were about to close, he happily served us and made us feel comfortable. The food was excellent, and the hospitality made the experience even better. Thank you, Fry! Highly recommended!
The waitress fry was very kind to us. We came a bit late, and then he kindly helped us to order and was very patient with us. On top of that, we order the salmon and the Seabass dishes and they were perfectly cooked. 🙌🫶
Mooie plek aan de rivier in het oude centrum van Hoi An, zeker als je op het balkon zit. Je kan de boten met lampions over het water zien varen als de zon onder gaat en de lichtjes de stad over nemen. Daarnaast een plek voor goed eten, lekkere wijn en erg vriendelijk personeel.
We popped in for happy hour and it was great. Good quality wine in a truly stunning environment! If you can nap a spot on the balcony upstairs, you get a great view of the river! Oh and the netted fried duck spring rolls were delicious & fresh!
2 stars just because the cake seems tasty but the personnel was very unfriendly, not trying to help me at all with my problem. I needed their VAT and the receipt but didn’t want to share it because they bought the cake from a supplier, which I don’t get what is the problem. Not good in customer care

We have ordered drinks and after finished we went upstairs to take pictures for 5 mins. Literally no one was there but the lady was telling us that table was booked and kept pushing us to leave. 15 mins later there were still no people there so i don’t see the point of not letting us take a picture for 5 minutes

Simply Perfect. This is an amazing restaurant. Downstairs is quite informal but upstairs is truly elegant and tasteful. This was our second visit to the Hoianian. We so loved the experience last year that we just had to return and we were not disappointed. The decor is superb, the service outstanding and the food was fantastic. This venue has a balcony where you can actually appreciate the spectacular night beauty of Hoi An (unfortunately other venues are disturbed by load poor quality music from the cheap bars across the river!). Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed. Advisable to book in advance. Thanks Roy & Julie

We found this restaurant by chance while walking along the lake. The setting was very pleasant and we enjoyed very good dishes; it is a bit more expensive than the norm for Vietnam but it was still affordable. The staff were very competent.
