absolutely incredible staff, happily accommodates to all dietary requirements and the food is delicious. 10/10 recommend!!
We have been here twice during our 3 days 2 nights trip in Hoi An. The foods are good quality and the staff are polite and friendly. After our first lunch here, we joined their bamboo basket boat trip, just get on the boat in front of the restaurant, as the weather was very hot after lunch, it was good suggestion to get on the boat to enjoy the bliss. The next day we came back for lunch again as we tried some other restaurants which still not as good as this one. So we purposely took taxi to come back.
The owner is a friendly and laidback guy. The place is great, good food and good drinks, wonderful view looking out to the Thu Bon river. Would gladly come back
Lovely pancakes and drinks cooler than in the arctic!
Lovely friendly place right on the river. Plenty of action to watch. Glad the floods are over but this is what they had to deal with...see line at top. All back to normal now. So resilient. Also coldest beer in town.
Great little restaurant with great food and drink fantastic views of the river the staff are very welcoming and attentive
Came here twice - first for a coconut coffee, then for lunch. Loved the atmosphere and great music they’re playing here. Also fans helped with heat. Food was a great quality, loved both chicken noodles and shrimp rolls - very fresh! Draft Tiger was refreshing!
Last week my family and I had dinner at Home Taste. The food was amazing and the service from staff and the owner Chris was welcoming us in like family. Thank you, Chris, for looking after us and our little boy, we had a fantastic evening 😊🙏
We spotted this place in our first night but only managed to eat here for lunch before heading to Da Nang - so glad we got to enjoy lunch, very cold beers 🍻 and the hospitality of the owners. Would recommend and return. Extensive menu and well priced We had the white rose dumplings and pork belly
Love the owner and the food 🥰 …
Beautiful river view, okay. Hoi An company. Pass, thank you. Service is bad. Pass, wifi is very weak. Tourist prices.
The restaurant is in a great location; I especially recommend sitting on the rooftop, where you can enjoy the view of the walking street and the river. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. We ordered fried wontons, fish soup, and stir-fried pork. All the dishes were very delicious.
Definitely the coldest beer bar in Hoi An - maybe even in all of Vietnam! Chris is a wonderful owner, and if you have a chance to chat with him, ask about his story. He is an inspiration. Besides the great hospitality and cold beer, the food is also excellent, and the bar's location is an ideal spot to watch the flow of people or admire the lanterns on the river, day or night. Highly recommend a visit and I will definitely be back!
We stumbled upon Chris's shop while in the old quarter and really loved this place. The Vietnamese coffee was delicious, and we had an interesting conversation with Chris, who recommended a tailor shop and even arranged a boat tour for us! Can't praise enough, friendly staff and great facilities!!!
We spent many days sitting by the river, drinking water and watching people pass by while waiting for friends from Australia to arrive to celebrate my lover's birthday. We decided to hold the birthday party on Captain Chris's yacht. The trip was very …
What a wonderful place! I came here to have a beer but ended up ordering a second and third glass. We ordered fresh delicious squid and fried spring rolls. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and Chris was a lovely host.
We come to Home Taste every time we visit Hoi An - sometimes several times a day. Chris and Le are wonderful, friendly hosts, the food is delicious and affordable. And the beer here is truly the cheapest in town. We recommend Home Taste to everyone. We love this place.
I had a very wonderful visit with Chris, the owner. The beer here is definitely the coldest in Hoi An. Chris is a very knowledgeable local and can arrange almost anything, including tours on his boat. We requested a tour to a fish sauce factory, a little-known place. Chris made it happen for us and even cooked us lunch along with great cold beers!! Thank you Chris for all your help.
Try some traditional dishes. We really enjoyed making our own spring rolls. The special chili is very spicy and is placed on every table. This restaurant is located right on the main street near the market.
I came here with my boyfriend, who has never been sick, but both of us got sick after eating here. Moreover, the food was not good. There was an insect on my plate, and there were insects crawling on the table. Don't eat here, it's not worth the money and you...
We happened to stop by Home Taste, and it ended up changing our entire afternoon. The restaurant owner asked if we wanted to join his sunset boat trip, and we decided to go. His brother drove...
Great view right by the river, food is very delicious, staff is friendly, prices are reasonable.
That day was my last day in Hoi An and I was really looking forward to enjoying avocado coffee because the salted coffee was so delicious that I kept buying it over and over. I passed by Home Taste, the staff saw me looking for a drink and said that they didn't ...
A wonderful place with friendly people and a perfect view of the river and boats, just a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the market so you can easily stroll back anytime. ...
