Bikini Bottom Express

This place was very hyped. A lot of tiktok posts by tourists so my wife and I tried it. The service was great. The atmosphere was friendly and warm. But the food….. Chicken tenders were dry, coating was gritty and falling apart. I am not sure how you mess up a simple pancake. Needed a glass of water after one bite. Their burgers were decent to say the least.

Food here is so good. I ordered the Montreal poutine chips and they are the best poutine chips I have ever had; you can see from the picture the amazing cheese pull. The burger and breakfast platters are also very delicious, the drinks taste fresh and are clearly made from fresh, whole ingredients. Despite it being busy the food came out relatively quick, and the servers are all very friendly. Location is airy and spacious too. Lots of nice natural lighting and greenery with a chic industrial feel. Great place to catch up with friends and family!

Bikini Bottom Express is my new favourite restaurant. We are staying in Da Nang for a few days, and after visiting this place once, we’ve already returned three times. Everything about it is perfect - the atmosphere, the staff, and especially the food. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, with a cool, clean interior. There’s something about the vibe here that just feels good. Whether it’s the chilled music playlist or the positive energy from the staff, you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. Speaking of the staff, this restaurant has a fantastic team - one of the best-run places I’ve ever visited. Everyone is kind, welcoming, attentive, friendly, and hardworking. Not only are they clearly well-trained, but they also have great personalities and real charisma. They’re chatty, happy to offer recommendations, and genuinely go above and beyond to deliver excellent service. Dirty plates are cleared as you eat, and service is fast. Our server, Lan, was particularly impressive - friendly, chatty, and with an infectious energy. Now onto the best part: the food. After travelling for two months, the meals at this restaurant provide real home comfort. From cheeseburgers and toasties to sausage and egg butties, and even chips and gravy, the menu offers an impressive range of delicious options. Extra care is taken with even the smallest details, such as using Heinz ketchup, proper pork sausages, and KFC-style gravy. We’ve tried the burgers, toasties, chicken, fries, desserts, and breakfast, and we’re yet to find a bad dish. You can order anything on the menu and I can guarantee it will be delicious. I was extremely impressed. My personal favourites were the chicken burger for dinner and the sausage and egg sandwich for breakfast. Prices are extremely fair, with most meals costing around 100K VND. Despite being cheaper than McDonald’s, this restaurant uses top-quality ingredients to serve genuinely high-quality meals. If you’re thinking about a cheeky takeaway burger, don’t bother - get yourself down to Bikini Bottom Express. Overall, this is the best Western restaurant I’ve visited in Southeast Asia, and it may well be my favourite restaurant of all time. Huge credit to every member of staff for creating such a special experience.
