We ordered Bún thịt nướng - vermicelli with a slightly sweet sauce, herbs, and grilled meat, Nem lụi - skewers with lemongrass, and Chả lá lốt - something like dolma. All of this is served with an incredibly delicious bean and peanut sauce, rice paper for wrapping, and herbs. For three dishes we paid 150k, but every dong was worth it. Definitely one of the best eateries in Da Nang.

I visited Bún Thịt Nướng Bà Trai during a busy lunch hour and quickly understood why locals always come here. The shop has a very down-to-earth feel, with simple seating and a relaxed, casual atmosphere—the kind of place where you can effortlessly enjoy a delicious meal. The line moves quickly, and the dishes are served fresh and hot, ensuring a steaming bowl of rice noodles every time with consistent quality. The grilled pork rice noodles here are well-balanced and full of flavor. The noodles are soft and chewy, providing a solid foundation for the other ingredients. The grilled pork is the highlight of the dish—rich in smoky flavor, tender and juicy, with seasoning just right, savory without being greasy. The pork has a perfect char on the surface, adding layers of texture, and each piece is cut generously, so you get plenty of meat in every bite. Fresh herbs, crisp lettuce, shredded carrots, and bean sprouts add a refreshing texture and rich layers, making each bite lively and not greasy. Finally, a drizzle of sweet and savory fish sauce ties all the ingredients together perfectly. A squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of chili elevate the dish further, enhancing the flavors. The highlight of this bowl is the balance of temperature and texture. The crunchy vegetables, warm and savory pork, and soft noodles intertwine for a memorable experience. The service is quick and attentive, without any fuss. Even when the restaurant is crowded, orders are handled efficiently, and the kitchen runs smoothly. If you're in Da Nang and want to taste an authentic Vietnamese classic, Bún Thịt Nướng Bà Trai is definitely the place to go. This bowl is fresh, delicious, and nutritious, delivering a perfect experience every time. The food is simple but always satisfying.

Authentic local.. There was a similar local restaurant near Han Market, but it seemed many tourists visited there, so the prices had gone up. That's why I came here. This place is still a local favorite only visited by locals, and it's delicious. Eating alone, I had 5 pieces for 50,000 VND and noodles with meat (fried spring rolls and grilled pork with glass noodles) for 30,000 VND. It was delicious and generous, and the price was reasonable.

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so good that I'm leaving one. It's a true local gem. If you enjoy authentic local flavors and don't mind not being able to communicate verbally but still sharing smiles and laughter with the locals, you won't regret coming here. It was my first time trying this food, and when the dish came out, they showed me how to eat it and explained with a smile, making it feel warm and wonderful. They even opened my beer for me. This is a restaurant I'd visit again next time I'm in Da Nang. Boss, may you run your business happily for a long time!

When I entered the shop, it was full of locals. After seeing the ratings and reviews, I went into the shop and sat down, and they gave us 7 skewers per person along with vegetables and rice paper sauce. As soon as I ate, I kept saying 'delicious' with my husband and enjoyed the meal.

I stopped by by chance.. what a surprise! Highly recommended! If I were to compare it to Korean food, I'd say it's similar to tteokgalbi skewers. 10,000 VND per stick! They give plenty of vegetables to wrap it like Vietnamese spring rolls! The dipping sauce is also absolutely amazing❤️☝️👍…

Nem lui is 7,000 VND per piece / Fried spring rolls are 50,000 VND per plate. Looking at Google reviews for nem lui prices, it says 6,000 VND per piece. I'm not sure if the price went up or if they charge foreigners an extra 1,000 VND. You can check the price on GrabFood, and there it shows 6,000 VND per piece. So it seems like they charged an extra 1,000 VND per piece because I'm a foreigner. I don't know why they do this. We will upload videos on YouTube, and many Koreans will see them... It's really unfortunate. The taste is okay. Even if they charge more, it's about 350 won per piece, so it's cheap. As for hygiene, judge for yourself^^; For reference, the photo below was taken with a Sony full-frame a7m3 and Tamron 28-75 f2.8. Totally local~ Visited around 3 PM, there was only one table of customers and it was very quiet. The person at the entrance was continuously grilling skewers, probably preparing for the evening business. No English at all, no menu, but everything is communicated through eye contact lol. They just brought out 5 skewers as a default. Then they showed me how to eat with eye gestures... so I responded with eye gestures too haha. No meat smell at all. Wrapping it with rice paper along with vegetables and meat, dipping generously in a porridge-like sauce, I understood why this place is famous for its food. Highly recommended~

The owner and his son pretended not to care, but they kept looking out for me as a foreigner. They even taught me how to eat it directly. The kindness, taste, and price were all good. However, as it's a local restaurant, the hygiene was a bit disappointing, which is unavoidable.

As I was entering from in front of the store, they stopped me, took my sunglasses, pointed at me, and laughed. I felt a bit upset at that moment, but I just let it go and sat down in the restaurant. Then they didn't take our order and just giggled while looking at us. Then they brought food we didn't order and forced us to eat it. The food smelled bad, and the skewers visible underneath were not fully grilled and had a very strong smell. If you want to have a good experience like us, go there and be a sucker lol.

I'm not sure if it's famous yet, but it's a place that's affordable and delicious. I recommend it to Koreans.

I went after watching YouTube. As expected, it's just okay. It tastes good, but going by taxi to the restaurant is not recommended. 10 pieces cost 100,000 VND.

This place is a true local favorite. The price marked as 'VIP' is for the small size, same as in the photo... it's confusing. The waiter doesn't speak English at all, but takes orders with a latest tablet. No air conditioning. Five menu items with cool beer and a sensible ice glass. Total is just under 14,000 won. Compared to nearby places with 1,000 reviews, this is the real local value-for-money restaurant.

Looking at the text below, you wrote 5 pieces as one serving, but one serving is 10 pieces. One serving is 3,000 won in Korean currency, 60,000 dong. I was so surprised because it was so delicious. I had all my dinners here for two days. I also drank beer... I packed it and ate it at the hotel. The above is a review from November 2018, and from now on it's a review from May 2019. One serving of 10 pieces has risen to 3,500 won, 70,000 dong. The taste is still good. I visited after 6 months, and I was grateful that they recognized us. Hygiene is not recommended, but taste is highly recommended.

When you enter, they give you grilled pork skewers, which are minced meat. I ate it deliciously! However, cleanliness is not very clean...

I have eaten at Bun Ba Trai for a very long time, probably nearly 10 years, but I usually go with my family because this eatery is very famous and also located on Đống Đa Street. However, I find that the eatery uses too much MSG. I am someone who often eats out, but every time I eat the grilled pork noodle soup with beef wrapped in betel leaves and grilled pork skewers at this eatery, I get MSG sickness. But the service here is very fast, so everyone can give it a try.

We ate at 9 PM, both the vermicelli and the grilled meat skewers were sour (my younger sibling and I both found them sour), but they insisted they weren't. We left the food and went home immediately.
