Best place in town for prawn / shrimp Papaya salad!! Very friendly staff too

Our favourite place in An Bang. Such great atmosphere and amazing food. Lovely little family run restaurant makes you feel right at home- came multiple times.

Tucked down an alley, Mr Hoa’s is a typical An Bang eatery but an excellent version of its kind. Better than average decor and they have the BBQ out front. Excellent tamarind shrimps, authentic and a big portion size. They also do surprisingly good homemade pizza. You get bruschetta as an appetiser. Friendly staff, and more of them than most other restaurants so you aren’t kept waiting long.

We stayed in this area two weeks and came back here six times for dinner. It was so good! Worked our way through papaya salad, mango salad, and pineapple salad twice. All very good. The grilled red snapper with the chili was consistently excellent. We tried grilled red snapper at multiple places at A Bang beach and this was our favorite. Highly recommended.

Such a cute little family run restaurant behind the beach, down a few alleys... i had the scallops which were fresh and really delicious, and the red snapper with chilli... the tastiest fish I've had in Vietnam. The food was so good that I had to have the deep fried mango with ice cream dessert too. All for 400 dong

The food is super delicious - I swear I'm not seeding! The owners and the kids are also lovely, friendly, and very quick with service. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. I liked the appetizer, even though I normally can't eat tomatoes and garlic. The atmosphere is cozy, the restroom smells nice, it feels like visiting a friend's house and being invited to stay for dinner. I will definitely bring my friends here next time I return to Hoi An 🩷🥘

A good little restaurant in the beach area. The fish was very tasty, the pizza was so-so (but I wasn't expecting anything special). The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. But you have to understand that even though this is a cafe oriented towards tourists, it has a classic Vietnamese atmosphere. You can't help but be horrified when you go to the sink to wash your hands - boxes are piled up, some trash... The price is okay: 200K for the fish, 150K for the pizza.

Super family restaurant, very tasty food, not only local but also pizza is really good (I spent two summers in Italy, I know what I'm talking about). Very friendly and attentive service. We will definitely come back here.

Very tasty food, the fish is beyond praise, very tasty pizza. We didn't expect to eat such tasty pizza in Vietnam. We came twice and will come again.

If you're Korean, just go. Starting with the appetizer bruschetta, the scallop there is insane ㅠㅠ The white rose is also delicious, of course, and for the banh xeo roll, if you don't like mint much, you can ask them to leave it out. Oh, and the seasoned shrimp too, everything is so delicious.. Also, the owner's son serves the food, and he's handsome hahaha 💗 For the red snapper, we thought salt was tastier than chili. If you ask separately, they'll give you salt too. Since we ate a lot, they even gave us complimentary bread 👍 Ah, the drinks here are tasty too!! Definitely visit. There's no air conditioning, but the atmosphere is nice, cozy, and clean-!!

Without any review events or anything like that, I sincerely recommend this place. If you are Korean and planning to eat at An Bang Beach, you must come here. My extremely picky mother asked to come twice, so we ate lunch and dinner here twice. I tried various menu items, and the fried rice, pizza, steamed snapper, and scallops were truly the best. The owner and the part-time staff are really kind ㅠㅠ

This is a place full of love. It contains the stories of Chef Hoa and his family, and you can feel love in the food and throughout the restaurant. The grilled scallops are unbelievably delicious. I ordered them twice. The special sauce is homemade, and with this, you can keep eating rice endlessly. It was a very happy and pleasant restaurant. In Korea, there is an expression 'rice thief.' It means something so delicious that you keep eating, and all the dishes here were truly delicious. If I had known earlier, I would have wanted to come two or three times. The owner's special sauce has a very deep flavor. If anyone is passing by, you must stop by and eat the scallops and fish dishes!

Although I don't usually visit the same restaurant while traveling, this is a place I visited two days in a row, especially twice in one day! The kind and smart owner and the perfect chef—be sure to visit! Even if you go 2 or 3 times, you'll be satisfied^^ My parents in their 70s and my elementary school kids were all satisfied, and especially my son told the owner that he definitely wants to visit with his friends when he grows up, haha. I recommend this perfect restaurant where 5 stars are not enough.

If there's one thing I regret about my trip to Hoi An, it's that I only got to use this restaurant once. If you're in Hoi An, this is truly the best restaurant you should visit at least twice. The interior is charming and the owner is cheerful. Every dish we ordered made our family happy, and we had an unforgettable evening. A restaurant so good that five stars aren't enough. It's understandable why the rating is 4.9. More delicious than any seafood place I've eaten at in Vietnam. It's the top. Especially since everything is grilled right on the grill. Every dish is flawlessly delicious. The moment I took a bite of the grilled scallops, it was just over. As soon as I ate the bruschetta they gave first, I knew this place was good, lol. The scallops were truly shocking. The sauce... At famous restaurants in Korea, the scallops are a bit dry (overcooked?) and just have garlic oil, but here the sauce is a kick... The grilling and seasoning of the shrimp are just unbeatable. The fried rice is a must. It's as fluffy as Chinese restaurant fried rice, but not greasy at all and savory, ㅠㅠ. The sea bream is really tender... I ate it last night and came as soon as they opened today. Get rich! 🩵 It's a bit hot because there's no air conditioning, and the grill smoke stings the eyes, which is a slight flaw, but it's so delicious.

It is a restaurant located in a small alley a little away from An Bang Beach, and all the menu items were delicious. The female owner is kind and cheerful. When we finished our meal happily, she gave us freshly baked bread as a gift. I recommend taking a leisurely meal and then walking along the beach to An Bang Beach.

Local restaurant, nestled in a cute little street. We enjoyed Vietnamese dishes there, very well cooked (special mention for the papaya salad with beef). The staff is adorable, very attentive. We will go back!

EXTRAORDINARY FLAVORS!!! Sorry for shouting but it needs to be known! This is a hidden restaurant near the beach where I only ate once, much to my regret. The slightly more visible neighboring address also offers delicious dishes, but if you have to choose, Mr. Hoa's Kitchen gets my vote. I went there in the afternoon and it was very quiet with a very pleasant bossa nova vibe, but I don't know the atmosphere in the evening. The young servers were impeccable, bravo to this family restaurant where I had a great meal! After 9 days in Vietnam, this restaurant is my favorite! RUSH OVER.
