We will definitely be back. We sat down to eat and were so excited by our order, had already started one beer - but they had no card facilities, cash only. So we’ll need to go back and pay for that beer.
I think I just had the best meal of my life. My 3 children certainly swear that they did. The tamarind crab was cooked perfectly, and the warm Banh mi soaking up the sauce along side it was perfection. The garlic grilled shrimp were the biggest I’ve ever seen, and it was the best shrimp dish I’ve ever had. The seafood rice was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and had a generous amount of shrimp, octopus, and squid. The price was half of the tourist ripoffs, and the portion size & quality was double. Outstanding!!
I stayed a few days but only stopped by on the last day because my fishing trip ran late, so I conveniently dropped by when the eatery was about to close. The food I found was the best compared to other places I've eaten at (based on everyone's reviews). The staff gave enthusiastic advice that suited my family, and the food was served extremely quickly. My family ate everything, leaving nothing behind.
They cheated me, I bought fresh shrimp but got frozen shrimp.
Tôi là dân địa phương, hôm nay tôi đưa 1 người bạn từ Sài Gòn ra đi ăn hải sản Bà Cường. Nói thật tôi không hay ăn hải sản, nhưng giá đình tôi đã ăn ở Hải sản Bà Cường từ khi quán còn sập xệ, lâu rồi tôi không ăn lại nên không còn nhớ rõ cũng cách bán của quán. Tôi đã nhắn tin cho chủ quán để hỏi rằng sức ăn của chúng tôi không nhiều và liệu tôi có thể gọi mỗi món hải sản phần nhỏ được không vì chúng tôi đều muốn thử. Anh chủ quán có vẻ hiểu lầm rằng chúng tôi rất thích ăn hải sản nhưng ngại không có đủ tiền nên chỉ dám ăn phần nhỏ, anh chủ đã đợi nhưng mãi không thấy tụi tôi, hoá ra tụi tôi đã tới và gọi món rồi. Sau đó anh chủ đi có việc nhưng vẫn không quên gọi hỏi để xác nhận tôi tới quán chưa vì anh chủ đợi lâu không thấy, tiếp theo hỏi số bàn của tụi tôi. Tôi cứ nghĩ như vậy là xong nhưng sau khi kết thúc cuộc gọi, anh chủ gọi điện cho chị của ảnh (cũng là người đã nhiệt tình giới thiệu hải sản, chọn món cho tụi tôi) dặn là phải chọn cho tụi tôi loại tươi ngon nhất, tụi tôi muốn mua bảo nhiêu lạng cũng bán, nếu tụi tôi không đủ tiền trả thì cứ tính cho ảnh. Tụi tôi vô cùng bất ngờ, đồng thời cũng ngại và cố gắng giải thích lại là tụi tôi hoàn toàn có thể trả được nhưng sợ dư nhiều ăn không hết lại phí vì tụi tôi đi có 2 người. Ấy mà mà chị kia đi vào dặn bếp nướng mời tụi tôi 2 con sò mai bự ơi là bự, và liên tục dặn NV quán không được tính tiền 2 con sò mai đó của tụi tôi, lại dặn tụi tôi đừng ngại, cứ ăn thoải mái. Tôi hoàn toàn chấm 10 điểm vì sự nhiệt tình, hiếu khách, chân chất thật thà của tập thế chủ và NV Hải sản Bà Cường. Về khẩu vị: mắm gừng rất đậm đà, muối ớt chấm vừa vặn. Chem chép hấp xả vị thành nhạt chấm muối ớt thì vừa vị. Sò xiêu thì cồi sò to, ăn cảm nhận rõ độ tươi ngọt của hải sản tươi 100%. Bò bóp thấu chua thì vị chua vừa phải, nó hơi nhạt số với tụi tôi, thịt bò mềm. Lẫu cá dìa: Còn cá dìa bự, rất tươi, thịt cá rất ngon, nước lâu thành, vị chua cay nhẹ vừa phải, rau tươi. Về không gian: Quán thiết kế bếp là không gian mở nên khách có thể thấy được bếp làm như thế nào, nhà vệ sinh sạch sẽ, có không gian riêng cho khách đoàn. Tôi đánh giá dựa theo vị giác của tôi và sự khen ngợi từ bạn tôi. Chúng tôi chắc chắn sẽ còn quay lại và giới thiệu thêm nhiều người bạn nữa đến quán.

Our hotel (Cani Beach House) recommended Quán Bà Cuong for seafood. We arrived and the boss patiently explained what in the menu was available this day. She recommended the Pomfret (labeled Rabbitfish on the menu) so my wife ordered it. I had grilled prawns. We split a big serving of seafood fried rice. Everything was delicious. The sauces complimented the food perfectly. The fans kept us cool on a hot day.
The waiting time for dishes is a bit long, the price is reasonable, neither cheap nor expensive, the menu is clearly displayed and weighed on the spot for customers.
