Not very happy with it, the food was average, portion sizes very small, not enough for 2 people. Its my 7th day in the country and its the first place I paid tax at. Not worth.
Amazing option for India and specially vegetarian. The quantity could have been little bit higher, but no complaints in foreign country taste was amazing, got Mumbai like food in Da nang
This was the first time a restaurant server seemed able to apparently read my mind! Alaya recommended the Tawa roti butter to go along with the delicious Paneer butter masala I had ordered, and the combo was spot on! Other than that, I highly recommend the dry fruit lassi - best lassi I've had, and I lived in Silicon Valley where indian food is top notch. You also know Gujarati is a quality veg restaurant because so many indian families come to dine here. The A/C was perfect (not too cold, not too warm), the only thing is the plave echoes a bit so you need to talk more loudly if your party is more than 4 people. Would definitely dine here again!
On 22nd October about 6:30PM me and my wife we went to this restorent befre me four or five persons were already getting served. We ordered Tawa biryani and two lassis. Food was served immediately in few mins. Taste was OK but look at the serving bowl in which food was served. I asked server to call the manager he told me.he.is sleeping and will come in some time. When I finshed my dinner I once again asked to call the manager he came after few mins . I showed him the serving bowl and asked him it should have been used at all ? He said.it.is only. broken and do not.think anything wrong in serving in it. Not sure if Vietnam authority do visit and check in what condition these pepole serve food to customers. Have a look at attached.picture and you decide if that should have been used at all. It dosent even look like has been broken recently.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this pure vegetarian Indian restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a great meal. The biryani was beautifully fragrant, with perfectly cooked rice and a rich blend of spices that made every bite flavorful. The roti was soft yet slightly crispy on the edges, just the way it should be. And the aloo curry was a true delight—creamy, well-spiced, and packed with authentic flavors that reminded me of home-cooked Indian food. A special mention to Alaya, our waitress, who provided excellent service. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious and authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!
Delicious food and great service! We got the curry customised and Chef Raju provided us the tastiest customised curry. Overall great experience, great Indian cuisine taste in Da Nang, Vietnam. Plus being pure vegetarian restaurant is an add on to the vegetarians like us.
Overall very disappointing Don’t go by the rating The table wasn’t clean We had ordered SevTameta but it was totally different It’s overpriced compared to other Indian Restaurants in DaNang Wouldn’t recommend
One of the best restaurants in Da Nang to have indian cuisine that too pure vegetarian . Also the atmosphere inside the restaurant make you feel as if you are in india only.

Best Indian food i have ever had!!! (and i know good Indian food -lived in Mumbai) Warmhearted staff too👍😎Try Veg Jaipuri ...its heaven!
This is a vegetarian restaurant. You have lots of options including starters, Chinese, thali, main course etc. The food is okay. We found it bit oily.
I went here with the high rating of the shop, but it was quite a disappointing experience. 1. First of all the staff serving doesn’t fully understand the menu. She took the wrong order, and when I told the food I ordered is not the one I am served with, instead of accepting her mistake she got defensive. This was a deal breaker. Luckily the chef’s preparing the food were quite understanding, and replaced my order without questions. Even served a complimentary roti. 2. The roti I ordered was a tandoori butter roti, and the one I received was quite different from the picture on the menu. So, expect the item you receive to be different from the photograph on the menu. Perhaps, they forgot to garnish. 3. Be aware, the prices shown on the menu are tax exclusive. You will need to pay extra 8% tax on the original price you ordered with. I wonder why the prices on the menu cannot be tax inclusive. 4. If you go in hot summer, it gets very hot inside even though they have an AC and two fans. Apart from all this, the place is great for vegetarian people and they have a wide range of Gujarati dishes, though I am not so familiar with the dishes itself. They seemed very interesting and appetising.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Gujarat Indian Restaurant in Da Nang, Vietnam. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and a great variety of vegetarian options. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. A special mention to “Alaya”, who was incredibly courteous and attentive, making sure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. Her hospitality truly stood out. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Indian vegetarian meal!
