Delicious food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. Every dish was full of flavor. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended

I’ve been here many times for their hot Masala Tea, but this was my first time trying a proper dinner, and it was a pleasant surprise. The standout dish was definitely the Butter Chicken Masala. Rich, creamy, flavorful, and easily the best thing we ordered. The Garlic Naan was also excellent, freshly baked, with soft and also crispy texture, and perfect for dipping into the curry 🤌🏽 The Tomato Soup was just average and didn’t look quite like the photo on the menu. On the other hand, the Teh Tarik was very good. It had a strong tea flavor and wasn’t overly sweet, exactly how I like it. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is both an air-conditioned indoor dining area and a pleasant outdoor courtyard. When the restaurant gets busy, the indoor section can become a bit smelly from the food, so if you’re sensitive to smells, the outdoor seating is a better choice. The location is convenient, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. I came expecting just a decent meal, but the food exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back for the Butter Chicken Masala.

This place is a GEM 💎 We used to only order masala chai in the past. Today we had dinner here and it exceeded our expectation 🫶 🍽️ We ordered Teh Tarik, Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken, Banana & Chocolate Roti. Everything was 🤌 and done so quickly! 🛋️ Dining space is spacious. Outdoor space is breezy. Indoor space has aircon. 🧑‍💼 Staffs are nice and friendly, good understanding of Indian cuisine and Vietnamese taste preference :) 💰 Pricing is good. Really worth the money. Thanks for the experience!

I have visited numerous Indian restaurants in Da Nang, among which Mama Masala distinguishes itself. I commend all facets of this establishment, from the authentic flavour of its dishes to the tenderness of the mutton, which reflects a level of care comparable to that of parental figures, particularly within Asian cultures. The lassi is sufficiently sweet without being excessively sugary, and the vegetable platter exhibits expertise and meticulous attention to detail. Furthermore, the naan is exceptionally flavorful. A slight bitterness was noted from the dark crust, although it was minimal. The service is exemplary; staff members provided thorough explanations, which were particularly important as my vegetarian diet, ensuring we avoided any misunderstandings. The owner is also notably friendly and helpful. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Outstanding menu variety: They offer a fantastic selection of both rich curries and perfectly charred tandoori items.

I visited Mama Masala after seeing the high rating here, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. I ordered the fish curry — and luckily I didn’t order more dishes, because some of the items I originally wanted were unavailable at the time. The curry itself was extremely watery and oily, and the fish consisted mostly of the back/tail section: small pieces full of bones. It looked completely different from the photos and nothing like the fish curries I’m used to getting in better Indian restaurants. Even the chutney and naan were bland and lacked flavor. Overall, the food quality simply did not match the high score this restaurant received here. That’s unfortunate, because I usually prefer giving positive reviews.

It was a great experience on our Dinner which was a take away which forced us to come back to Mamma Masala for Lunch… the lunch was awesome especially for those South Indian cousins. Thanks you very much for the great food and hospitality.

Food served was so nice and hygiene. Had a fulfilled feel after eating here. They served us our south Indian dosa after a week's longing and search for that at Vietnam.

It's very nice place to eat Indian food. Thier staff has very good, food are very tasty. Definately there is no any other restaurants available in Danag. Everyone must be take food here.

The restaurant is located in the center but the price is cheap compared to the general level. The flavor is okay. Vegetarian food is okay. The staff is enthusiastic.

The menu is rich and diverse. Although it is an Indian restaurant, there are many dishes that suit Vietnamese tastes. My family and I had a very delicious meal, and everyone was satisfied with the service here. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and the staff are enthusiastic. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience Indian cuisine!

An interesting dining spot you should visit and enjoy. If you are already too familiar with seafood in Da Nang, try Indian dishes for a change with the distinctive Indian curry flavor that is unmistakable. The eatery has a beautiful view, a rich menu, and friendly, polite staff. Will come to support next time.

I just tried it once and I'm extremely satisfied. The space here is set up very beautifully and comfortably, the food is authentic Indian cuisine, and the staff are very enthusiastic in introducing dishes and supporting customers. Everyone should come and try it, it will be very much to your liking.
