Atmosphere, I thought it was pretty awesome and unique. There's quite a number of staff. The broth is kept aboil under wood fire. Crackling of fire mixing with the sound of rain on the rooftop. As I arrived at 5:30am, already a few customers there. My rideshare decided to eat breakfast there also. People slowly joined as time went on... Service, I was seated immediately. A gentleman approached me for my order. I responded "Thap Cam". And within a minute, a lady brought a bowl of noods. Food: like making coffee at a campfire, there seems to be a light smokiness to the broth. Not sure if the smoke is imbued into the broth or if the aroma of smoke is inhaled with every bite? They never say it is Bun Bo Hue. They never said it's Hue style. The menu has no pricing for food or drinks. Just the food list and drink list. The broth is lighter than Hue style. It doesn't have fermented shrimp flavor. I didn't taste any heavy spice like star anise or cinnamon. It was lighter and clean. Naturally sweet from the bones, tendon and protein. There was no sate in the broth either. But there are crushed chillies for you to adjust soup to your liking. They didn't give me or other clients any bean sprouts or shredded lettuce. The table next to me, who ordered "Thap Cam Dac Biet" did get bean sprouts served to them in a basket. There weren't any blood cake nor pork trotter nor any crab ball. Once again they never claimed to be Bun Bo Hue. There was tendon, and various cuts of beef. Absolutely delicious bowl of noodles, Thap Cam. And for only 40k.
Wood-fired Bun exactly like a local Da Nang eatery, looks simple but the bowl of bun is very high quality 😄 The broth is rich in flavor, fragrant from being cooked with wood, so it has a very distinctive smell. The meat and toppings are quite generous, the bun is moderately soft and extremely enticing when eaten hot. What I like most is the feeling of the kitchen always billowing with smoke, looking very authentic and having a true street food eatery atmosphere. Service is fast, friendly, and the food comes out quite hot. The space is a bit casual and slightly hot during peak hours, so I rate the atmosphere as moderate. But if you want to experience a local-style bun eatery true to Da Nang, it's definitely worth trying 👍
Very delicious, excellent quality
The beef noodle shop here cooks with firewood. The flavor is moderate, not outstanding but edible, with affordable prices, and they also sell bread for dipping.
Regular noodles not special but service is very bad. The lady taking orders was rude, I hadn't finished ordering when she said 'hurry up I don't have time, I have to take orders from other tables.' Earlier, I called her many times but she didn't come, so I was about to go to the counter to order, then she shouted 'go back to your seat, I'm coming.' The place uses wood fire so it's heavily smoky, eating there feels suffocating. I hope everyone should consider choosing another place because there are many better ones.
Next time, review with more thought, guys. An ordinary eatery but the price is not ordinary at all. A special bowl of vermicelli for 75k has nothing special. The food is just okay, expensive for the quality. Visit once to know.
Staff attitude is not good
Expensive and charcoal-burning, so the air is unpleasant.
A beef noodle shop true to its name, the toppings are beef, with added crab spring rolls. The broth is sweet and clear, fragrant with lemongrass, the Central region vegetables are sparse, the owner is enthusiastic. The shop's hygiene is a bit poor. In short, delicious!
Really disappointed. I heard the advertisement that this place is delicious, good value, and cheap, so I came to enjoy it. But truly disappointed, the bowl of bún was just okay, the 35k bowl had sparse and little meat. The 65k bowl had one beef rib the size of two fingers and about 4 pieces of brisket, that's it. What's worth mentioning here is the waitress around 35 years old, wearing black clothes, chubby, with a very ungracious service attitude, in other words, very condescending, a patronizing service style. We spend money to buy, we don't beg. Buying and selling has its limits; don't think that you are already busy and don't need customers. Hope next time I receive a friendlier attitude.
Vegetables that others have eaten and left over, then they give them to us to eat. It looks very dirty and unhygienic!

Local vermicelli eatery, on a small street but the quality of the bowl of vermicelli is international. The broth is rich with the flavor of bone broth. Sweet, fragrant, and fatty. So delicious.

Mr. Rin's Bun Cui eatery. I accidentally found out on TikTok that a guy commented this eatery is delicious and cheap. So I rode my bike from Hoi An to Da Nang to eat. Before going, I told the owner to save me a bowl of bone broth, around 10 PM I would come, and I would pay in advance, but the owner was very cheerful and said okay, I'll save it for you, no need to pay. =))))) When I arrived and ate, oh my god, the bowl was huge, overflowing, and enormous. The broth was delicious, and the service was very fast, everyone. Everyone was so friendly. Currently, this eatery is my top 1 delicious bun eatery in Da Nang. Everyone should try it!!!!
I read the comments from you guys, most of which are praises, but here is my actual experience eating at this eatery. I saw you guys commenting that the mixed bowl costs 40k, while I ordered 2 mixed bowls for a whopping 150k. After eating, I felt like I was ripped off; it's not worth the price. For the price of one bowl, I could have eaten two bowls at another roadside eatery. My mistake was not asking the price before buying. Everyone take note.

This place is one I visit very often because the prices are reasonable and the flavors feel incredibly familiar. The broth is cooked over a wood fire, giving it a distinctive aroma that brings back a strong sense of childhood and traditional home cooking. The soup is naturally sweet and well balanced, not overpowering. A standout feature is the Huế-style crab cake (chả cua), which is extremely tasty, fragrant, and firm, pairing perfectly with the bún. The space is simple and rustic, just like a local neighborhood spot. Overall, it is a warm and comforting bún place with authentic, traditional flavors that keeps me coming back.
The spot was recommended to me by locals and even taxi drivers, and that's exactly what I love 😎 Of course, you shouldn't look at the ambiance, it's just local-like. ❤️❤️❤️ No touristy stuff, just honest food. They cook with real charcoal. Open only until 10 AM in the morning and from 5 PM in the evening. Bún Cùi Mr. Rin completely won me over: spicy 🌶️, strong broth, really good beef. This is exactly how Bún Bò Huế should taste 🇻🇳🍜 Absolutely a must-try. I am a Viet Kieu. 🥰
