GUYS THIS LOCAL EATERY IS SO GOOD. In our 6 day trip we had to come dine thrice!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BEST MENU ITEM is definitely the stirred noodles + a bowl of pork rib soup. SO GOOD WE HAD TO ENCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MUST-TRY!!!!!!!! it was so cheap as well I swear 😭😭😭 PS do try the sauce!!! Not spicy AT ALL despite the fact that there’s a ton of chili immersed into it. It enhances/complements the flavour of the noodles so well
Tried ordering with the staff using Google Translate. He said ‘OK,’ but the food that arrived was wrong. When I asked another staff member what it was, she just kept saying ‘yes.’ Honestly, left me speechless.
I am truly extremely outraged by the service at the Hoang Dieu branch. This is no longer just 'poor service' but a lack of respect for customers and a complete disregard for the dining experience. From the moment I entered, there were not enough tables and chairs for customers to sit, the staff arranged things extremely chaotically, and their attitude was visibly annoyed. When customers asked or needed any assistance, they answered curtly, impolitely, and without any friendliness at all. What made me most angry was the attitude and remarks of the staff. When a customer gave feedback about the service and the food, the staff said something like: 'Eating a bowl worth a few tens of thousands but acting like eating a bowl worth millions, too demanding.' Excuse me, but if you run a service business, no matter how much the customer pays, they deserve at least basic respect. No one pays money to receive such a contemptuous attitude. Not stopping there, there were also hair and fur in the food. When reported, the staff even argued and said it was fiber, and even said: 'If you say that, then I give up' with an attitude as if being falsely accused, instead of trying to resolve it. A restaurant that cannot even ensure basic hygiene is truly terrifying. If you encounter such a situation while eating, who would dare to come back? The table was also not fully prepared with lime, chili, or the minimum necessities for customers. I am sure this is not the first case, because when I looked at the reviews, I saw similar cases, even sharp objects falling into the food. I write this because I am truly too disappointed and angry with the way the restaurant at the Hoang Dieu branch operates. This is the first and last time I come here to eat. I hope everyone should consider before coming to eat to avoid losing money and getting trouble.

The food is bad, the service staff is too poor. At 7 PM, customers came to eat, they didn't give the menu to the customers, making the customers have to go find the menu themselves. When ordering food, the staff looked at each other and laughed, as if the customers did something wrong??? Especially the female staff member with a white hair tie was extremely condescending. I hope the restaurant corrects the staff's attitude. There's no such thing as customers coming to eat and the staff giving a smile that makes anyone who sees it feel uncomfortable like that.
The price has increased again, but the food is getting more and more tasteless. In the past, the tom yum hu tieu was rich and flavorful, but now it's just so-so, not as good as the early days. I just went there again for lunch, and the bowl of hu tieu was completely cold, the noodles weren't even properly blanched, the meat was sparse with just a few slices. The broth was bland. Now it's even worse than street-side hu tieu.
It is a local dish with a taste that suits the palate.
I usually eat here, but today I don't know how, when eating, there was a sharp piece of iron in my bowl, which caused my mouth to bleed. Luckily I took it out, otherwise if it had pierced my mouth, what would I have done??? I messaged the page to resolve it, but they didn't reply and didn't give any explanation about this issue. Too bad.

I haven't eaten bánh canh here, but speaking of mì xíu and hủ tiếu, they're terrible. The other day I came in and ordered two bowls of dry hủ tiếu and dry mì xíu. Honestly, it was freaking awful. I've eaten at many places, and they do it very well. But here, it's just nothing. The broth is also bad. The tables and chairs are right on the street, and they don't bother to clean them, so they're covered in dust. As for the dry mixed dishes, they should blanch the bean sprouts for customers, but instead they brought out a basket of raw bean sprouts.
We enjoyed a 35,000 VND bowl of banh canh, and the older brother who came with us added a 5,000 VND noodle dish. But when paying, the male employee insisted it was 100,000 VND. When I took out a calculator and showed him, he finally accepted it with a sulky face. Beware of being overcharged. The udon-style noodles are delicious.
The eatery is not very clean. Plus, Hoang Dieu Street is under construction. The combo is both dirty and dusty. The food is okay, nothing special, the broth is cold and the flavor doesn't really suit me.

The bowl of banh canh is very good, lots of toppings, and the price is also reasonable.
My usual eatery because it suits my taste. Today's experience was really bad, the flavor was like 2/10 compared to before, both bland and somehow off. Disappointed.
The staff's attitude when taking out is never willing to give vegetables to customers; their attitude is very rude.
The banh canh is okay. I see there are quite a few customers coming to eat even though the road is under repair. But the flavor doesn't really suit me. The plus point is the big shrimp, but the mantis shrimp is a bit not okay.
I know the Thuận Thành crab noodle brand, which has many branches but inconsistent quality (each shop seems to have a different owner). My favorite shops were on Thái Phiên and Đỗ Bá, but as of now both have closed :)) too bad. At the Hoàng Diệu branch, I saw a fair number of customers coming and going. I haven't tried the crab noodle here yet, so I can't compare whether it's as good as the ones at Thái Phiên or Đỗ Bá. The wonton noodles are okay. The noodles are a bit hard, maybe undercooked. The char siu is tender and well-marinated. Adding a wonton costs an extra 10K, I think. I had to add quite a bit of soy sauce to make it savory and coat the noodles evenly to my liking. Overall, the presentation is nice, but the taste is average. Not sure if I'll come back.
The food is acceptable, prices are reasonable, but the staff attitude is too disappointing, every time I visit it's the same. Especially the last time I came, the order taker was indifferent, and before I even fully stood up from the table after eating, they rushed over to clear the table 😠

I came to try what Hủ Tiếu is. You choose between rice noodles and ramen noodles, and then choose whether you want it mixed or in soup. I had the one at the top left of the menu, which looked the most basic. It had a clean oxtail soup feel, so you could add the chili paste on the table to make it spicy. The bánh quẩy was also savory and delicious. The surrounding roads are under construction, so there is a lot of sand flying around. Please keep that in mind when visiting.
