If you are looking for a place to enjoy authentic Northern-style pho, then Pho Bac Hai is a name worth trying. The eatery has two branches: one on Tran Phu and one on Tran Quoc Toan. The Tran Phu branch, though seated on the sidewalk with a casual atmosphere, has significantly better pho. The broth is rich, naturally sweet, and fragrant with the characteristic cinnamon and star anise of Northern pho. In particular, Korean customers favor this branch, and it is always crowded. The rare stir-fried beef pho here is outstanding: the beef is stir-fried until tender and flavorful, combined with piping hot broth that blends perfectly. The accompanying condiments are standard Northern style with chili sauce and pickled garlic in vinegar, each contributing to the complete flavor of the pho bowl. The Tran Quoc Toan branch is located indoors, cleaner and more comfortable, suitable if you need a cool place to sit. However, the flavor here is not as satisfying as the Tran Phu branch, especially the broth which is somewhat lighter. Besides pho, the beef and pickled mustard greens fried rice is also a must-try. The fried rice here is fluffy, not greasy, with crunchy and sour pickled mustard greens, tender and savory beef, overall very palatable. In summary, if you prioritize deliciousness and authentic Northern pho, visit Tran Phu. If you prefer to sit in a clean, more comfortable space, Tran Quoc Toan is the suitable choice.

The eatery is crowded, the owner is cheerful and lovely. A medium portion is 40k, adding meat soup for 40 is a lot 😚

Staff are cheerful and enthusiastic. Even when arriving to eat at midnight, the place is still crowded with customers, but the pho is served very quickly.

Glorious Pho Bo. The price, I think, is overpriced. I came in by mistake, confusing it with a neighboring establishment with better reviews, but I didn't really regret it. The downsides: the staff doesn't speak English and everything is set up on a conveyor belt.

Delicious pho, affordable prices, enthusiastic staff

High price. The food is bad, I ordered beef pho and chicken pho. The bowl of pho is tiny with little meat and little noodles, price 60k. Sitting on the sidewalk, hot, lacking fans.

The pho is ridiculously expensive but it's just well-done pho, nothing special. I advise everyone not to go eat. Just eat the one where you can choose rare, well-done, brisket, fatty brisket, flank.

Petit restaurant, grandes saveurs ! Excellent repas ! J’ai goûté le pho spécial, le pho au poulet et les rouleaux de printemps aux crevettes. Tout était frais et délicieux. Je recommande vivement ! Le personnel est très accueillant. À ne pas manquer !
