Honestly, the food is okay for the price, but the owner needs to train the staff better :)) Yesterday I bought a box of bún đậu, but they placed it upright instead of flat. I thought it would be fine, but when I got home and opened the box, the shrimp paste container had tilted and spilled all over, making a mess. I rode my bike back to the shop to get another container, but the staff didn't even say sorry.
The food is very expensive, not worth the money, bun dau mam tom, cha com, .. All fried batter, no meat, like eating vegetarian.
One serving for 1 person 30k, eat until full and blissful like a turkey. An eatery right in the student area, cheap and filling, amazing.

After eating bún đậu, there was no drinking water. Asked the staff, they said water must be ordered extra. In Đà Nẵng but thought it was a shop in Hanoi.
I would like to give a 1-star review because there was a fly in my bowl of shrimp paste :)) but when I told the staff, they just said they would change to another bowl and didn't even bother to apologize. Do they think it's no big deal to have an insect in a customer's food? This is the last time I eat at this place, it's really unhygienic.
The other day I went to eat here, the food was okay, cheap, but in the dipping sauce bowl there was some kind of bug. I asked, 'What died in this bowl?' and that guy replied, 'It's just a... (I think he said a fruit fly), why are you making such a big deal?' while I wasn't saying much. During the meal, I also found a strand of hair, but I just ate it anyway. However, I won't come back next time. Anyone who is particular about hygiene should consider this.
I saw the eatery was quite crowded so I stopped in to try it. The place wasn't fully booked, but I ordered just one bún đậu and one drink and waited nearly 20 minutes for the food. The bún đậu wasn't really bún đậu. It was all fried items—fried dough sticks, fried nem chua—and the tray had only one type of vegetable, a few sparse lettuce leaves. In short, it was more like a snack tray with shrimp paste dip than bún đậu.
Okay, I really like it. Ah, but the wooden table inside is not very comfortable because there is a bar 😞
Let me ask, what time does your restaurant close? Because on the map it says 10 PM, but when I arrived at 9 PM, you didn't accept any more customers. If you don't accept customers at 9 PM, you should set the closing time to 9 PM so people don't make a wasted trip. I'm giving your restaurant 5 stars for now because you're still in business, but if I come again and encounter the same situation, I'll give you 1 star.
I've only ordered via Grab, haven't visited the eatery yet. The bun dau is delicious, but there's a bit little vegetables.
Heard the eatery makes good food so stopped by to try. Little My in the kitchen was very friendly and cute. Will come again next time.

The child standing in the kitchen has an attitude towards customers. The owner should reconsider this child.
I usually eat bún đậu here. The attitude of the staff before was very normal, but tonight the staff's attitude was extremely poor. They brought a cup with dish soap residue that hadn't been washed clean, and when I poured water in, it foamed. I tried it and reported it to the staff, but received a very unpleasant attitude and not a single apology. They brought a replacement bottle, placed it down on the table, and said a sentence that made me and my sister extremely uncomfortable: 'Here's a new bottle.' And when they brought the tray of bún, they didn't place it in the middle even though we had cleared a space for it, and they put it on the side table. When we asked for extra straws, the two staff members spoke and looked at us with a very annoyed attitude. I am truly disappointed with the service attitude. I hope the restaurant improves the service attitude of the staff.

Chicken feet and noodles are super delicious, shrimp are quite fresh and big. Milk tea with toppings is also good, the staff and the shop owner are all very friendly.
I've been eating at Bun Dau 1996 for almost 2 years. But I will never come back again. Today it was raining, I looked on Grab but there was none, so I braved the rain to go buy. Seeing it was crowded, I happily waited. But after waiting an hour, I still hadn't gotten my takeout. Meanwhile, people who came much later than me had already been served. When I spoke up, the staff said they had punched in the order, but the kitchen said there was none :))). And the staff came out to tell me it would be ready soon. I was very upset and said to cancel the order. After waiting an hour, I went home in the rain with nothing in my hands.
The restaurant is okay, the food is delicious. However, I don't like the attitude of the staff member in the black shirt this afternoon. You ordered with a very curt tone. In general, I am not satisfied with such service.
