My family came from downtown to eat, heard friends recommend the food is delicious. I found the space cool and breezy. On weekdays, the food comes out faster; the restaurant doesn't pre-cook food, so you have to wait, but it's very worth it.

I have been to this eatery no less than 5 times and will come again. It is located about 20km from the center of Da Nang. This is a reasonable choice if you like eating field or stream food. The staff are mainly family members working themselves, so they are not professional; however, for a countryside eatery like this, I find it very good.

Great countryside cuisine at Hương Sen I visited Hương Sen around noon and was impressed by how quickly the food was prepared. Everything tasted great and had an authentic countryside flavor. My family ordered quite a few dishes, all fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the raw shrimp salad and grilled chicken! Note: The grilled chicken is made fresh to order – they only start preparing it after you place your order, so it can take 1 to 1.5 hours. But it’s worth the wait – the chicken is firm, juicy, and full of flavor. The sticky rice with bird meat was also a highlight – soft, tasty, and rich. Since the restaurant is a bit far from the city center, I recommend calling ahead to order, so your food will be ready when you arrive. A great spot for anyone who enjoys authentic countryside-style Vietnamese food!
