A portion of bun dau looks quite generous: neatly cut square noodles, fried tofu golden and crispy on the outside, soft inside, not greasy. Side dishes such as green rice patty, boiled pork, fried spring rolls... are made to taste, not dry or too salty. Everything is arranged neatly, looking appetizing. Shrimp paste is the key point, and here it is mixed well: not too pungent, balanced salty-sweet flavor, you can add more calamansi or chili to taste. Those used to shrimp paste will find it easy to eat, and even first-timers won't feel too 'overwhelmed'. The food comes quickly, and the price is reasonable for the quality and quantity. Overall, Bun Dau Chat is a solid choice if you want a full, filling, and authentic bun dau meal on Trung Nu Vuong Street.

I ordered snail cake to take away, the staff was okay but then they brought me green rice cake, and the chopsticks they gave were pitch black. The eatery wasn't too crowded, yet they still got the order wrong? Probably the staff forgot what I ordered and didn't dare to ask, so they just made something to finish the order :))

I drank a glass of water that had a fly in it. The portion I ordered was the special mixed Mẹc for 110k, but it was quite small, not worth the price. This was my first time eating there and I won't come back.

Missing food. Ordered successfully via QR code but waited a very long time. Asked for water, the staff said there was no bill. Then asked a staff member to order for me, but still nothing came. Then when paying, they brought both the bill and the drink out — I have no idea what happened. Finished eating but still no drink.
