Food was surprisingly really good. I usually steer away from high rating places, but this deserves a 4 stars in taste. I got two dishes: Ga quay (fried) Ga xe (shredded). Both dishes were enjoyable paired with the sauces. What stood out were these little pieces of crunchy rice bits in the yellow rice. The rice was flavored perfectly and the crunch that went along with it was amazing. The soup was also very comforting. I will be back!
I was told that this place is good but when I tried it I can't agree. In my honest opinion if you're going to open to 10pm, the food has to be as fresh as 10am. I brought in 8 people to try at this place guaranteed it was the best chicken place to eat. All I hear was complaints that the food was too dry, chicken wasn't good, and many more negative feedback, just too many to list. The smallest complaint was the napkins. Instead of toilet tissues for napkins, at the very least, they used very thin paper that, for greasy foods, that is not a good choice. We all end up using our own wet towels, which is highly recommended to bring if you eat here. Food wise, it was a big portion for the price. The rice was red colored, not plain white, which is typical of traditional Vietnamese rice color. The chicken thigh portion was very large, maybe two people can share. Orange juice was too sweet, added too much sugar. We ate late, around 9pm, almost closing. Does this late time justify the dry food and sloppy service? It doesn't matter if I came in at 10am or 9pm before closing, I think the food should be as good and fresh as when they just cooked it early in the morning. I hope this helps for those coming here for late dinners. You will be disappointed of the food not being fresh.
There were many people passing by, so I came in for lunch. It's a truly local restaurant, and I ordered chicken fried rice (com ga) and Tiger beer. Total 88,000 VND. After only eating noodles, having rice and chicken was really the best value for money and delicious. I plan to visit again during my remaining stay.
Beer 250,000 VND, more expensive than any bar. I wondered if I was overcharged because I'm a foreigner. The chicken rice was delicious and the portion was huge. Three dogs were walking around, cute. Ate leftover rice.
Great, 👍💯 I was torn between Bà Buội's chicken rice and A Hải's rice and decided to come here for dinner because I saw the eatery was more voted by locals. It's really great when I...
Delicious chicken rice. Happy service staff. Parking on the street on odd and even days.
You were taken out for a late-night meal. The chicken rice had crispy skin, firm meat, and soft golden fried rice. It came with soup and kimchi that were mildly seasoned. Eating in the evening was pleasant and cool.
Went to eat at noon, the eatery was super crowded. The space was a bit stuffy and had to wait quite a while for the table to be cleaned (because it was quite crowded). One portion of oil-splashed chicken rice looked stunning, the chicken thigh was bigger than the plate of rice, although fried, the skin was crispy and the meat was still moist, not dry. For broken rice, the meat was well-marinated. The price was quite reasonable for the quality.
The chicken is delicious, I often buy it to take home. When eating at the restaurant, I find this paper unhygienic; no large eateries use this paper. They should change to soft napkins for customers.
The best is the crispy fried chicken with oil-drizzled rice. More than 10 years ago I ate at this eatery, and now coming back, the quality is still as good as before. The chicken is fried with crispy skin, the rice is stir-fried, chewy and fragrant, accompanied by a very delicious vegetable soup. One serving is filling, but for those who are afraid of oily food...
A Hai chicken rice eatery is located on Thai Phien Street. The shop has been in business for a long time and is famous throughout Da Nang. The space is very local. We ordered roti chicken rice, boiled chicken rice, and shredded chicken rice. The rice is cooked with gac fruit seeds, so it has a very delicious nutty flavor and uses the boiling water...
The short-haired female owner of the eatery talks to customers in a commanding and scolding tone.
Crispy chicken skin rice is quite delicious... worth the money
Have you tried both fried and steamed? I preferred the steamed chicken! Since it's a local shop, there were small flies flying around, and the dishes weren't exactly clean either.
Haven't eaten there in a long time. The roasted chicken rice is both dry and tough. The soup is as sweet as dessert. Overall, the food quality is terrible.
Delicious chicken rice, 1/4 bird wing or thigh, satisfying to eat, clean
The staff's attitude towards customers is extremely bad, showing contempt for customers!
An unpleasant experience when coming to Da Nang. The restaurant service was terrible. The attitude of the serving staff was emotionless. I ordered dishes that I had never experienced being so bad.
The eatery is very crowded, service is fast, prices are affordable.
Food is mediocre. Service is snobbish and poor. 4 people ate. Went in and ordered 4 chicken thigh rice + 1 shredded chicken salad, they refused to sell. Said they only sell 2 thighs + 2 wings. Ordered drinks, they didn't bother to respond. Had to call 3-4 times before they replied. ...
Two people ordered 2 portions of chicken thighs but the shop refused to sell, with the reason '1 thigh 1 wing then sell, if sell all thighs then who will buy the wings'. The response was very unpleasant, disrespectful to customers. ...
When ordering takeaway, asking for a few extra bags of chili makes the restaurant complain about losses. It seems the restaurant profits from chili, not from chicken rice. The service is no longer like before. I used to be a regular customer since the restaurant had only 2 rooms, now it has 4 or 5 rooms, yet... I don't know if I should buy and eat there anymore.
Rice here is 60k per portion, the rice with chicken also has a big piece of chicken. But it's not my taste.
Two thighs but not sold. Only allow choosing 1 thigh and 1 wing to sell. The shop is arrogant.
