Im really impressed and surprised to see some negative feedbacks because our experience with the foods and service was outstanding. The salmon salad tasted very nice, steak was soft and tendered. Grilled scallops and steam squids were fresh. Service was fast in our private room. Highly recommended!

The restaurant has a cool and airy space, the seafood is very fresh, the service is good and friendly. The must-try dishes are barracuda and squid. I ate the salad, which was a bit spicy and salty.

The female staff member serving the Hai Van room on the evening of October 13, 2025, needs to reconsider her attitude and way of speaking with customers. She wore a short dress above the thigh. She spoke with a very bad attitude, even though the customer politely reminded her to bring beer. She served but was not proactive in bringing more beer, leaving the customer to get it themselves many times. When reminded, she interrupted the customer before they finished speaking: 'I know, ma'am.' Request that the restaurant management implement a training plan for this staff member.

Au Restaurant at 38 Pasteur, Hai Chau 1, Hai Chau, Da Nang. This restaurant is owned by the owner of the famous 4U Bien seafood restaurant in Da Nang. Au Restaurant is a one-story French colonial villa in front facing Pasteur Street, with a fairly spacious yard. Behind is also a large yard and a newly built two-story building with an architectural style quite harmonious and similar to the front villa. The restaurant's capacity is about 500-600 diners at the same time. Located on the small Pasteur street in the old center of Da Nang city, Au Restaurant has an open space with plenty of light but is quite quiet, decorated quite luxuriously while still retaining a nostalgic feel, bringing a warm and intimate atmosphere. With private dining rooms for 20-100 guests and a garden, Au Restaurant is suitable for family meals, meetings with partners, gatherings with friends, or company parties... The menu is rich and diverse, from home-style rice dishes to fresh seafood and imported foods. The quality of the dishes is quite good, with generous portions. Unique dishes to try here are Steamed chicken with fish sauce, Grilled barracuda skewers, One-sun dried squid, and Crab soup with water spinach. Staff are quick, enthusiastic, and polite. Prices are relatively high compared to the general level in Da Nang. However, it is quite worth it for a delicious meal in a beautiful space in the city center.
The day I ate here, I ordered dishes such as: seafood soup (45,000 VND/bowl), rocket salad (250,000 VND/plate), Australian beef fillet with green pepper sauce (1,650,000 VND/kg), steamed abalone with soy sauce (1,800,000 VND/kg), BBQ lamb ribs (165,000 VND/piece), red crab stir-fried with tamarind + bread (900,000 VND/kg), salted fish fried rice (200,000 VND/plate), dessert fruit (grapes + mango + guava) (150,000 VND/plate), and water. The average per person is 1,000,000 VND. But I admit, you get what you pay for. The food is really delicious, folks. The seafood soup I found average. But the other dishes like salad, Australian beef, red crab, abalone, etc., are very well cooked. Especially the abalone and lamb ribs, incredibly delicious. Service, I give 7/10. Because some staff are good and some are not. I ate here with guests, so I got to experience this restaurant. The food is good, worth trying, and if I had money, I would come back. But for me, I would choose another restaurant because Da Nang has many places where you can experience equally delicious food at a more affordable price.
