Bad Dirty Should not visit

Koreans make Korean food deliciously. The stew types are completely different, but locals like them.

I don't know if the restaurant cooks by recipe or by inspiration. Some bowls are okay, some have little broth, thick, and the dry noodles are hard as if left out for a long time. Eating spicy noodles with broth like that completely ruins the taste. The service is superficial. When calling staff, they just say 'yes' to brush it off and then disappear. Asking for more water, they have a rude attitude, look at you, and turn away. The place is also hot, eating there just makes you more annoyed. The experience is not worth the money, no intention of returning.

I bought a takeaway portion for 199k, enough for 5 people to eat their fill, and the food was quite decent.

The food is delicious, service is good and enthusiastic, but the atmosphere is not good, the room is dirty, there are many cockroaches. If the shop improves the atmosphere, it will surely attract more customers and be better. Hope the shop improves.

The place is so dirty. Bowls and chopsticks are moldy. There are even green moldy rice grains stuck inside and on the bottom of the bowls. Bowls have dried chili sauce stuck on them. Almost every bowl is dirty. It's like the place is really deserted. 4 years ago, eating here was still acceptable. Coming back, I thought the place would have renovated and upgraded, even just the chopsticks and bowls. But no. It's disgusting to the eyes. Messaged the owner, and oh my, the person replied with just one sentence, and I understood why the place ended up like this. Didn't even get a sincere apology, just said they still wash dishes and clean, don't understand why the bowls get moldy on their own (maybe the dishwashing liquid has mold). Tried to finish eating and pay, but the staff told me to wait 3 times. When I finally went straight to the counter to pay, I urged them (the place wasn't crowded. Only our table had finished eating, and another table of 2 people + 2 delivery guys sitting for 20 minutes), and the staff member turned straight into the kitchen as if they didn't hear anything, like they decided to lose a customer for good. Eating while holding in anger is so frustrating. If you don't want to invest in the place anymore, just close and sell online. Don't do this. Now scrolling down, I see every 1-star review complains about dirtiness. Every 1-star review, the owner argues back. Yes, so here are videos and photos. Unhygienic and also petty.

This eatery's food is okay, but the hygiene is very dirty. The container for bowls, spoons, and chopsticks on the customer's table is full of cockroach droppings. Even the chopsticks smell like cockroaches. So even if the food is good, I seriously doubt the restaurant's hygiene. Eating here makes me feel nauseous right away. I hope the owner takes time to care about food safety hygiene, because most customers are children, which is quite alarming. Oh dear, I give feedback for improvement, but the owner always snaps back at customers. Truly admirable.

The restaurant is too small and cramped; when it's crowded, you can't breathe. Hot. Service is very bad. The kitchen is dirty, making the food dirty, cold, and not tasty. How can so many people sit and wait for food for so long? On top of that, they brought water—one table got 5-6 small bottles to share, each person got one glass, and they didn't refill. They waited for the drinks until the food came, ran out of water, and then asked for more water—many people were so thirsty their throats were dry. When we asked for more water, the staff asked what kind of water, and we said any water, just bring it for us to drink. The staff said 'hand-washing water' :))). After that, they brought a few bottles and that was it :))). And there were more than 10 people at the table. The food was dry and cold. Only a few dishes came out, each person got exactly one chopstick's worth and it was gone. The food came out slowly. We didn't dare to eat. It was like eating for the aroma and the experience. Sitting at a crowded table, we were too embarrassed to pick up our chopsticks, afraid that if we took one bite, the dish would be gone for others—who would dare to eat? Drinking water to fill up, but there was no water :))). The food wasn't good. Not worth the money, and the service was terrible. Bro, we have the right to order when we eat out. Our group was large and ordered a lot, but each time they brought out just a little. Who would dare to touch it? On top of that, the food was slow. We sat for over an hour and only got 2-3 dishes. Meanwhile, our group had more than 10-20 people. We were sitting at multiple tables. With so little food brought out, who would dare to eat? One box of chicken with corn and egg noodles. The egg noodles were just a little—8 people shared, each got 8 small pieces, and the noodles were enough for one person to eat alone, so no one dared to touch them. What's that about? Is it because we're a large group that they don't order? And customer reviews are meant to give feedback for improvement, not for the owner to snap back at every comment like that, bro. You should reconsider your staff. When customers ask for water, they argue with them. If their attitude is bad, customers will say so. Our group was large, so we basically took over the place. After eating, we paid for everything we ordered—we didn't skip payment. So now, after a bad experience, we're not allowed to leave a review? No wonder the owner's attitude is reflected in the staff's attitude. If you do business with that kind of attitude toward customers, you won't last long.

Cheap and large portions, I ordered chicken cheese noodles, black bean noodles, and kimchi soup. Overall, the two noodle dishes were just okay, edible, not too delicious but not hard to eat either. The dish that suited my taste was the kimchi soup, but it had too few toppings. It was raining, but the food was still warm when delivered to me, a big plus.

This review only talks about the mixed rice dish. The mixed rice costs 45k but is bad, to be honest, mixed rice is very easy to make. Whether it's especially delicious or not depends on the sauce. But this sauce is not like the ones at Korean restaurants I've eaten at, because basically gochujang sauce is made from soybeans, so when blended, it has a grainy, nutty texture, but this sauce does not. **What's special is that the packaging is also terrible; the shop puts the chili sauce directly into the meal, so much that the rice, which was normal, becomes mushy. So if we're being honest, I'm eating chili sauce mixed with rice, not mixed rice. Other shops sell mixed rice for 35k, with the rice and ingredients separate, and the chili sauce is also in a small separate box so customers can add as much as they want. The shop should learn from this.

This is my family's favorite eatery for over 10 years. The food is always fresh, delicious, and flavorful. The staff is lovely, and the owner is cheerful.

Terrible experience at the Dong Da branch. I knew the place from TikTok and stopped by tonight. I can't believe it was this bad. When we entered, we had to get the menu ourselves, find a pen and paper to order. My husband even had to go into the kitchen to hand in the order slip. I ordered 3 items: fried chicken, rice rolls, and tteokbokki to try first before ordering more. I don't know what flavor the food had, but it was terribly bad. The tteokbokki was overly sweet, the fish cake was mushy, and there was no cheese at all. I left the whole tteokbokki and went home. Yes, luckily I only ordered 3 items, and then we had to go eat at another place. You guys who hire reviewers, don't be too fake! If there were 0 stars, I would give 0 stars, not 1 star. After reading the restaurant's response: Dude, you said I ordered cheap dishes so they weren't good. If it's good, every dish should be good so customers would order more, otherwise, you should note on the menu that expensive dishes are good and cheap ones are bad. If only I complained, it would be because I'm picky, but you can read the reviews and see how many people are like me? Instead of spending a few minutes arguing with customers, you should review the quality of the dishes and the attitude of the staff. Go test the dishes yourself to see if they're good or bad, you'll know right away. The first two dishes were already bad, but I didn't plan to review so I didn't take photos. My husband was about to order a combo, but we heard the table next to us waiting a long time for food, so we had a bad feeling and ordered individual items to see if it would be faster. The place had only 3 tables of customers...

It was really a very bad experience. Our table ordered 3 dishes, but 1 dish came first, and the other 2 were served very slowly. My dish (spicy chicken noodles) had been served for over 10 minutes, but my friend's dish was nowhere to be seen. Normally, for tables with only a few people like this, the dishes should be served together. The work style of the kitchen staff was also slow, and it didn't seem like they had done any pre-preparation of ingredients before customers ordered. In short, there will be no next time.
