I tried this the 1st time when I was a kid, now I am almost 40. Ms. Thoi has been invited to cook at countless festivals but she never wanted to do big business and her selling price per bowl is...1/3 of what are being sold in Da Nang :)
The eatery opens early, serving from 4:30 AM to catch local workers before they go to work. I ate a bit late, but the broth was still not overly salty, and the flavor was just right. However, it leaned towards sweetness. I don't like sweet food, so I give 3 stars for the dish. The raw vegetables were also good, but not very fragrant. I had heard of Mrs. Thoi's reputation since she won the highest prize at the Mì Quảng festival, and now I finally had the chance to visit and dine, so I was really excited for the experience. The eatery has plenty of parking space and many tables and chairs. It is set up in the courtyard of a house tucked in an alley (a large alley) right next to the main road QL1A. For Service and Atmosphere, I give high marks because the eatery meets those standards. As for flavor, vegetables, and overall food quality, it's 3 stars. Not to mention it was too oily. Overall, I give 5 stars for the effort to preserve the traditional craft (making noodles) and the atmosphere the eatery provides. Prices start from 15k/bowl September 2025
Delicious and affordable Mì Quảng authentic to Phú Chiêm village. The owner is elderly, the eatery is an old-style three-compartment house, with the front facing National Highway 1A, very easy to find. If you have the chance, stop by to experience it.
