Disappointed-don’t celebrate your birthday here
This was my 3rd Valentine’s Birthday celebration at The Grill in 6 years and this time was by far the worst. Even if it wasn’t my birthday the service was terrible. Waiters looking around but not noticing empty water glasses. Our own waiter paying too much attention looking down at his phone than looking up at the table to see us waving at him for service. It was my birthday and there was not a single staff who acknowledged it. They forgot to bring my wine order (a single glass of a Cabernet Shiraz) and I had to l repeat my order to a different waiter. In addition we had to wait 10’minutes for our waiter to return to ask us what our dessert order was (the dessert selection is at most 4-6 items and didn’t take long to choose). And this is the first time out of three we celebrated that there was no birthday cake or candle presented. Even my Marriott Bonvoy app wished me a Happy Birthday when I opened the app to pay for the meal. The waiter checking his phone should be disciplined. For the prices charged the service should not have been so poor. Service Manager needs to be spoken to. Lifetime Gold Bonvoy member with more than 500+ stays and this was hands down the worst
Excellent Dining Experience on the Seaside
This restaurant is such a pleasant surprise and hidden gem in Da Nang. We ordered the local dishes and they were splendid. Pork spring rolls were most tasty & fullsome and the Mi Quang Lobster with pork slices and scallop caviar was the undisputed star of the night. Such and inventive dish with absolutely high quality ingredients that captivated all our taste buds and left us feeling most satiated in a long while. The bisque was fantastic and we could feel so much heart went into making it. Vy was our server and she was most helpful, kind and took care of all our needs, making us feel so welcome in her home country with a big smile. We had a good time
Not a good experience
I just went to check out the menu. Looking to come for lunch. The woman was rude. Came and blew on the menu that I had looked through. Made me feel extremely u comfortable. I won't be going back with my friends later for lunch. You missed our on some good business lady by being a rude human.
Hotel restaurant. Friendly and good service. As expected slightly more expensive than restaurants in town. Food was good and we enjoyed the large variety of cocktails and drinks.
I am a Bonboy Marriott Platinum member. We stayed in a sweet suite there where so wonderful. HOWEVER, I had dinner here. It took more than 10 minutes to order. I ordered a total of three foods. Two things, it took more than 30 minutes to serve the food. I even saw the last food, and it took an hour. I didn't even listen background music for atmosphere. The food is not good either. The staff would also like to make a request, but the service was very late. The price is relatively high. Overall, it's very bad. Hotels need immediate improvements.
