The food here is heated, completely fresh. When customers arrive, they pour the batter to serve them. Here I eat bánh rập, bánh dai, ram bắp. The dish that suits me best is ram bắp, which is fragrant and not oily, followed by bánh dai and bánh rập. As for bánh dai, it's quite fun to eat and suitable for snacking, while bánh rập is somewhat similar to bánh đập but slightly different. The space is moderate, with an open kitchen where customers can see the preparation. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly. There is also a dish called don that sounds quite unique; next time I will try it.
The rice cracker is delicious, crispy and fragrant. The sticky rice cake is a bit chewy, and the fried corn rolls are crispy and very tasty with raw vegetables.
I also wanted to try the authentic Quảng Ngãi-style bánh rập to see how it is, but haven't had the chance because it's too far. Then I happened to come across news about this eatery, a small shop in the neighborhood, clean, and the owner is friendly. The menu includes bánh rập (basically similar to bánh tráng đập in Hội An), but with the addition of fragrant fried chive oil and fried shallots, dipped in a simple yet divine bowl of fermented fish sauce. What I like most is the bánh ướt made fresh on the spot with fresh batter, so it's soft and smooth; they make it as you eat. Besides bánh rập, the shop also has bánh dai, bánh ướt, and ram bắp - other specialties of Quảng Ngãi. I will definitely come back to try the ram bắp.
