Food quality was good, but the service was slow. Waiting for the last order over 30 minutes. The server tried his best but 1 person to cover for 5 big tables (over 50 people) didn’t help.
Live seafood deliciously prepared. Attentive service. Down an alley, a bit cluttered, dingey and odd as you walk in with menagerie of pets and live seafood, but soon forgotten as we were greeted by friendly, efficient staff. The tables were already set with warm quail eggs, cooked to perfection and boiled peanuts (for a fee) to snack on while you wait. Seems it was formerly a residence, so the floors are nicely tiled and kept tidy, unlike other local seafood joints with floors covered in trash. No sound dampening with more seating upstairs and an atrium, so it's very loud. Off the beaten path and quirky but the kitchen does a great job 👍🏻 Morning glory sauteed with garlic. Crab rang muoi and steamed. Clams in chili lemongrass broth. Seafood porridge. All excellent! Too ravenous for pics; will include next time!
We went to this place because we wanted to eat seafood but did not want to go far from ours hotel. The food is good and delicious. The price is reasonable for what we got, we ordered so many dishes ex. Fish, crb, prawn, oyster. The service is good too. Although there’s only 1 server who can communicate in English but all the servers were really helpful.
Amazing service. The prices are transparent and the wait staff give good recommendation. We tried the broiled lobster, it is super buttery and rich, perfect with Vietnamese baguette!
We had a very good late lunch at this restaurant. Honestly, this is the cleanest seafood restaurant I’ve ever been to. Even the toilet is spotless. Prices are okay. I think similar to the seafood restaurants at the popular beach locations. I like how friendly the staff was. The uncle who helped us with choosing our seafood also recommended what kind of dishes would be great. We got the steamed shrimps (so fresh and juicy!), the abalone (never tried before and I was positively surprised), fish for rice paper rolls and a fish soup (with the head of the fish). Honestly, we were so full. And while it was kind of expensive, I have to add that this was a LOT of food for three people. It could easily have fed 4-5 people, I guess. And then, you could say that it was quite affordable ;) I will definitely come again with more people so we can try more delicious seafood.
