I came to this restaurant so many times before because the food is amazing and owners are so friendly. I held my birthday dinner here and the staff were so kind and hospitable, it really made the day extra special and I’m so happy I chose this place to celebrate. Thank you!
Honestly, the food wasn’t bad and the prices were reasonable but I give it one star because they don’t have any respect or consideration for customers. We arrived and saw that there were 2 tables having customers. We decided to order our dinner and stay for a little while. They were playing some music but it wasn’t too loud. When our food was served and we started eating, the table that had local customers started their deaf karaoke business, loud enough to pierce your ear tympanic membrane! Simply awful! And they didn’t care that we obviously decided to run away from the noise. By the way, that group didn’t book the whole restaurant and there was no special event in which case restaurants usually don’t allow outsiders.
When we walked in, the owner or chef/owner kicked his nursing mother dog out of the way. Then as we sat down we saw him kick her multiple more times. She wailed, and then ran and hid under the table. We saw a female affiliated with the restaurant call her over just to reprimand her as she backed away, terrified, under another table. Do NOT spend your money here.

A restaurant located about a 3-5 minute walk from Golden Bay Hotel. I didn't feel like taking a Grab to eat out, so I went into a restaurant I saw (actually, I also looked up reviews). I had previously written a positive review for Tem Hai San (and Cua Do as well), but after eating here, my opinion changed. First, I ordered Lobster Cheese Grill, Salt-Grilled Chicken Cartilage, Seafood Stir-Fried Noodles, Snails in Garlic Sauce, and Shrimp Skewers with Salt and Chili, and had a simple meal. The grilled lobster (compared to Mok Sikdang, Tem Hai San, Jojo, Cua Do, and other seafood places I've been to) was about half the price (about 1.2 million VND per kilo; grilled shrimp and raw shrimp about 700,000 VND). Considering that Jojo Seafood and famous seafood restaurants charge 2.5-3 million VND per kilo for lobster, this place shows its majesty with less than half the price. The seafood stir-fried noodles were good, similar to other places, but cheaper. The snails in garlic sauce—think of Korean large whelks. The shrimp skewers (5 pieces came out) were crazy for the price; the taste was like freshly grilled raw shrimp (I ran a raw fish restaurant for 8 years and now run a pork belly place). The salt-grilled chicken cartilage was crunchy, and they fried it with cilantro—I don't eat cilantro, but eating it together was delicious. The grand lobster: my wife loves to do a dismantling show, eating each leg one by one. She praised that it seemed like it was just steamed, with good shell separation, and the meat wasn't tough at all, giving a texture that didn't feel like pre-cooked or dead lobster, but rather freshly steamed upon order. She's still in front of me dismantling and eating each thin leg. The chicken cartilage suited my taste so well that I ordered another serving of chicken cartilage fried in fish oil. Eating like pigs, the two of us spent a total of 1.1 million VND (a 500-gram lobster... but it didn't seem like 500 grams; it looked bigger, lol). Even as I write this review, my wife is enjoying the lobster, saying it's amazing. Downsides: unlike famous seafood places, they don't peel the shells for you; you have to peel them yourself. You have to ask for wet wipes, and ask for forks and scissors. The bathroom door is broken; you have to hold it with your hand. All tables are outdoor tables without air conditioning (I came in the evening, so it was nice and cool). It's easy to find when staying at Golden Bay Hotel, which is away from the city center.
There are no restaurants near Golden Bay Hotel. I went to a nearby one based on Google reviews. It's an outdoor table without air conditioning. Two of us ordered four dishes. We ordered stir-fried squid, grilled skewers, stir-fried clam meat, seafood stir-fried noodles, one Huda beer, and one Coke at the table. I ordered the seafood stir-fry because of good reviews, but it had mostly noodles and wasn't tasty. I think the people who said it was delicious were either very hungry or first-timers. The stir-fried clam meat is served as semi-dried clams stir-fried with oil, vegetables, and garlic—no shells, just semi-dried clam meat with veggies. The garlic sauce was good, but the portion was small. When the second dish and beer and Coke came out, there was a sudden blackout like darkness. We turned on our phone flashlights and ate. They lit a small candle on the table. The blackout continued for a while. As it persisted, other customers—either takeout customers or a table with one person—also left. Just then, it started raining and windy. After a long time in the blackout, a staff member came with a flashlight and told me that they were still making my remaining food despite the blackout. As the blackout continued, relying on the candlelight, the remaining food eventually came out. I packed the newly arrived food in the dark and returned to the hotel. The stir-fried squid is semi-dried squid stir-fried in oil—not tasty. The vegetable pork skewers—I saw hair on the pork in the dark, removed it myself, packed it, and brought it back. I haven't eaten it yet, so I don't know the taste. It was inconvenient due to the long blackout, and I was startled by a dog passing under my table. When I hurried back to the hotel due to the blackout, I packed all the uneaten food and paid all the costs without a single word or service from the owner or staff. There was no basic greeting or manners toward customers. There's nowhere to eat near the hotel, so I searched Google Maps and went based on reviews, but don't be fooled by Google reviews. I wouldn't recommend this place—the service and food quality are poor for the price. There are no photos from the table due to the power outage. I paid in cash—365,000 dong—an amount shown on the staff's phone, not a receipt.
The food is decent and the restaurant is spacious and nice. The staff are friendly... The stir-fried noodles are delicious.
I happened to stop by a bar near my accommodation, and it was delicious. Crawfish 500g, grilled shrimp, shrimp garlic cream butter, fried squid, seafood fried rice, beer. The price seemed reasonable for what we ate. It was delicious.
It was really delicious. The cheese oyster??grilled was a bit sizzling, which was disappointing, but the stir-fried seafood noodles and grilled shrimp were really tasty. Ordering this for just 10,000 won is insane! The staff was very friendly and even gave me a motorbike ride to Gold Da Nang Hotel. Thank you so much.
Arriving in Vietnam late at night, I stayed at the Golden Bay Hotel and visited this place while looking for nearby restaurants. It was more delicious than I expected and the price was reasonable, which was nice. The staff is also very friendly.
Spectacular food, very special pad thai and something you cannot miss are the oysters with butter cheese gratin. The staff's attention makes you feel at home, 100% recommendable, the price is incredible. Thank you
I can't understand why this cafe has such high ratings, it's like they're fake. The name attracted me; I thought I would eat Thai food. It turned out that this is not Little Bangkok, but a small Vietnamese illusion of what Bangkok is like. The Tom Yum was prepared according to Vietnamese principles. There were no mushrooms, no special Tom Yum broth flavor, but instead they added clams and some kind of sausage made from some seafood probably, and the portion was larger than usual. In short, it was far from Tom Yum. But I wouldn't have written this review if they had cleaned the shrimp. The Tom Yum cost 115,000 dong; for that price in Korean restaurants, they sit nearby watching you eat to help at any moment, but here they didn't even clean the shrimp. Then the girl brought me a strawberry yogurt that was half a glass. And then I started to get irritated by not understanding the price. I looked at the staff; most likely they were the cooks and their assistants sitting nearby playing cards, a girl was sitting at the entrance playing on her phone, one of the guys slapped a card on the table with a flourish. And that sound made me realize that all the reviews here are either fake or because it's a convenient beer bar, and it's time for them to get their first real review with one star. Which will make them understand that the name of the establishment affects the visitor's expectations. If you want normal ratings, call yourselves what you are. For example, a small beer bar in Bangkok.
It feels like being in Thailand! Dinner under the bridge, the pad Thai was good.

The manager is extremely adorable. My baby was tired, but they advised on very suitable dishes. I rested a bit and then played happily for the whole family to have a meal. The food suits the taste of Northerners like us.
