quick service and plenty of parking spaces. food is good
The restaurant is clean, the space is airy, the fresh spring rolls with pork are delicious and authentic. The accompanying raw vegetables are very fresh, the dipping sauce is rich and extremely enticing. The staff serves quickly and enthusiastically. When visiting Da Nang, you must definitely try MAU Since 1962. It's a great experience, I will come back 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
4 stars, 1 star fish sauce normal
Delicious dishes in Da Nang.
It looks delicious, but it's nothing special... just a little bit of fish sauce and you'll get a stomach ache on the bus, 'ải chỉa' right away.
Experience the original flavor of Da Nang rice paper, this eatery seems to be mostly visited by locals.
The staff is enthusiastic, the food is delicious. It's a bit far from home, not suitable for going alone because the price per serving is quite high.
Delicious, nutritious, and affordable
The restaurant is very delicious and clean. There is quite comfortable car parking at the alley entrance. The meat is juicy and the vegetables are abundant, so you can eat freely without worrying about shortage. The dipping sauce is tasty but very spicy; if you can't eat spicy, remember to tell the owner.
The eatery has been operating for a very long time, located in a quiet alley. The place is quite busy, but your food will be served within about 10 minutes. The price is 80k per portion, which is quite high. However, it's delicious and worth experiencing.
I've been eating here for decades. To enjoy pork wrapped in rice paper, you have to eat it in the original area of Khue Trung, Cam Le, Da Nang for it to be delicious. Eating the two-end pork style wrapped with leaf noodles and special rice paper is exceptionally tasty.
Two people went, the old lady couldn't eat fermented fish sauce, ordered sweet and sour fish sauce, but they brought out a bowl of salty fish sauce, vegetables still had dirt.
The fish sauce is still good, the fresh herbs are good, but the pork smells like old meat. I guess I was unlucky. Bad timing. I won't come again.
Delicious and too crowded
Don't know if it's good or not, but it's my first time experiencing a meal costing 80k/portion/person. There are two older female sellers who are cute, but I don't like the customer service attitude of the young lady; it's very off-putting. This is my first time eating at this price in Da Nang because I've eaten at many places for 40-55k that were also very delicious. In general, because the service attitude affects customers, I won't choose to come a second time😊
It feels like a "taste bud reset." Every dish is fresh, especially the beer-steamed crab – firm, sweet meat, dipped in salt, pepper, and lime – absolutely perfect. My mom praised the oyster porridge for being well-seasoned, while I loved the grilled scallops with scallion oil, fragrant and rich in a simple, delicious way. The open space offers a distant view of the sea, with the wind carrying the sound of rustling waves. The staff are cheerful and engage with guests skillfully, creating a cozy atmosphere. A meal that captures the savory essence of the sea and the warmth of home. If you enjoy a light vibe, fresh seafood, and an airy space, this is a great choice 🌊🩵.
Excuse me everyone, is this pork with two layers of skin or one? I came to the eatery to enjoy the pork with two layers of skin, but they served it like this. When paying, one portion like this costs 80k, I asked why they didn't bring out the pork with two layers of skin for the customer, the staff said the meat like this is two layers of skin. The eatery is spacious and airy, the raw vegetables are plentiful but not thoroughly washed. The fish sauce is a bit salty, everyone. One portion like this at 80k, in my opinion, is too expensive, I won't come back and won't support or recommend it to anyone.
This is traditional local-style pork rice paper rolls. Delicious dipping sauce. 80k
The food is excellent, and the staff ladies are also very enthusiastic in taking care of customers. The only downside is that it's a bit hot because I went at noon, and the garden-style eatery doesn't have air conditioning.
I have eaten here many times, the food is delicious, the restaurant is spacious, and the service is good.
Please note to go to the eatery in the alley to avoid confusion with the one on the street! The owner is very enthusiastic and lovely, the rice paper rolls with pork are also very delicious, 80k/portion but the pork is plentiful, lots of fresh vegetables, the meat is cut thick giving a satisfying bite. The fermented anchovy sauce here is a bit salty, not the type with fish in the sauce, but I still like it because it has a different flavor. It's a pity that I want to visit many eateries, so I haven't eaten my fill yet. Will come back next time. There is a parking lot for cars opposite the alley, the space is spacious and airy with many fans, no need to worry about the heat.
The eatery has been around for a very long time, as far as I know over 30 years, almost one of the first generation of shops selling Bánh tráng thịt heo (rice paper with pork) in Da Nang. It is located in an alley of Đỗ Thúc Tịnh Street, a family-run shop that has been selling since the old days, now only family members work there. The shop is spacious but a bit hot even with mist sprayers on. The dishes still taste like the old days, although the pork has been trimmed of fat at both ends following the new trend, the vegetables and dipping sauce are still delicious. The vegetable platter is fully topped, you can ask for more without charge, the price is quite reasonable—80k for a fairly large plate of pork (women can't finish it). Since it's a family-run shop, service is a bit slow but acceptable, with a rustic style, not industrial like tourist-oriented shops. A must-visit destination for tourists coming to Da Nang to enjoy.
Every year I come here to eat. Delicious but lately the meat is a bit lean.
The eatery specializing in rice paper rolls with boiled pork stands out with a large, fresh, and diverse platter of raw vegetables, combined with fragrant and tender boiled pork. The homemade fermented anchovy sauce is both rich and aromatic without being too pungent, creating a perfect flavor. The restaurant has a spacious and airy atmosphere, suitable for both families and friends, promising a memorable dining experience.
