SOHO Buffet & Alacarte

I didn't think that near the sea, the crabs would be smaller than a small dipping sauce bowl. Oh my god. Reputed as a seafood buffet, only tiny crabs, baby crabs, crabs smaller than a small dipping sauce bowl. A few boiled shrimp are tiny and soft like peeled shrimp. Plus a few small clams and baby clams. That's it. No mantis shrimp. Oh, sea snails the size of a pinky finger 🤣🤣🤣. That's all the seafood. Roasted duck is dry, chewing like chewing straw. Oh, and the black sticky rice yogurt, but normally black sticky rice should be soft and sweet, right? Here, the black sticky rice is hard and sour. Fruits include watermelon, bland guava, tiny apples, that's it. Haha. I give up on whoever is the head chef of this restaurant. And the price is 379k. My wife and I added a bottle of water, total 778k. Utterly disappointed. They gave a small lobster as a gift, but it was soft and fishy. If this restaurant were in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, it would be less frustrating. Here, it's reputed as a coastal city, but the crabs are babies. Oh my. It was my child's birthday. I chose so carefully, but still ended up at this place. For example, if you're in Hanoi and have eaten at Cửu Vân Long or Poseidon, coming here would be a real shock. 🤣🤣 The staff are enthusiastic. But if the food is terrible, you can't be satisfied. That's what's disappointing. If it were 200k, I could let it slide. But 379k in the center of Da Nang is unacceptable. The number of dishes is half of what I've had at other places. I don't understand how this restaurant still survives. Maybe because it partners with travel companies. I only saw tour groups. Once again, I hope the restaurant changes. I don't mean to badmouth or compete with other restaurants. I'm a customer speaking honestly. Change to survive.

Too few ready-made dishes tonight, there's nothing to eat. I saw bánh xèo but now it's not the main thing, mostly hot pot, no ready-made dishes, only oysters and grilled meat. Last time, please 🙏

Minh just experienced the buffet at SoHo, truly impressed! Fresh seafood, especially the grilled oysters with scallion oil are very rich, and the hot grilled items are served continuously at the line counter. The staff are friendly, lovely, and particularly quick. The space is spacious, suitable for families and colleagues. The price is reasonable for everyone ☺️ totally worth trying 😘😘

There are many diverse dishes from meat to seafood, fresh and delicious seafood... the food is very tasty and suits the palate. The staff are enthusiastic, cheerful with customers, and serve customers very well... the space is airy, spacious, and clean... very satisfied, no regrets about spending time coming to Soho to enjoy the food.

I came back because I loved SOHO from a few years ago when it first opened. Now, the food quality is poor, the menu is lacking, no highlights, no signature dishes compared to other restaurants at the same price point, tables are small, making it very difficult to place food. The hot pot broth is hauntingly bad. Staff are unprofessional, service is poor, they don't know their job. You spend a lot of money on advertising but don't know how to serve and value individual customers and families. What a pity.

A day gathering with family. Beautiful space. Diverse dishes from seafood to various types of beef. Everything is very ok, enthusiastic staff! Will come to eat regularly.

The security guard is rude, openly disrespectful, and even curses customers with vulgar, filthy language. Haven't even eaten yet, but seeing that security guard already makes me feel sick. Should not come back here.

Just visited for a few days and got shocked. The space is messy and cluttered; upon entering, there are styrofoam boxes of goods piled up in the lobby, looking very dirty. The restaurant should stop with the fake advertising. The service staff do not clearly explain the operational policies and how they serve customers. The food is stale and dead; the line counter doesn't bother to refill. This restaurant mainly serves tour groups. Our group of 4 individual customers came in, and the staff didn't even bother to approach us =)))) And the restaurant needs to retrain its service team. 'Only tour groups get the cheese shrimp' — what's that about? =)))))))))))))) I don't care about your precious tour policy, but you should tell individual customers: 'Tour groups will receive an extra portion of that dish' — that would be much better :)) Never coming back. Thanks.

The food is not fresh and delicious, not as much as advertised on the fanpage. The space is old and messy, the plastic bowls and plates are worn out, the service staff is like that of a casual eatery. There are many tour groups. At this price for such service, I find it quite expensive; with this price, going to Korean or Japanese buffet restaurants is much better.

Pros: spacious, convenient parking, diverse food options. Cons: food not fresh, no ready-made drinks, ice cream not tasty, sweet soup too sweet. Furniture and tables/chairs are old.
