Was craving seafood. This hit the spot. No other foreigners around, which is always a sign that good food is on the way. They also had a really cute puppy, who was very shy but nice to admire from afar 💕

The price at this drinking eatery is okay, the food is fresh and delicious, the grilled stingray is appealing, the Thai hot pot has fresh ingredients, the cheese oysters are rich and fatty, the salted fish fried rice is tasty.

Last night I visited Hải Sản Lặn A5 at 14 Trần Thánh Tông. I ordered seafood stir-fried noodles, grilled oysters, salted fried sea chicken, Thai-style clams, steamed squid with diving snails. The seafood here is fresh. The best dishes I must praise are the diving snails and salted fried sea chicken, the meat is firm, the seasoning is well-absorbed, addictive to eat. Dishes like oysters, squid, or clams are also sweet and juicy, satisfying to eat. The only unsatisfactory point is the seafood stir-fried noodles were a bit bland, not very satisfying. In summary, fresh ingredients, a casual and comfortable eatery. Total bill for 5 people was only about 600-700k.

Cheap, not expensive. The staff enthusiastically advised on choosing dishes. There were two of us, so we couldn't eat much, but the fresh seafood and seafood porridge were quite satisfying for a hangover. And remember to try the diving snails.
The first time I ate at this eatery on the recommendation of relatives, I found the food quite delicious. It's near Tho Quang boat anchorage, very cool, with clean tables and chairs, and many customers from afar come to eat. In my opinion, the eatery does well with traditional-style dishes like steamed, braised, and hot pot, which are very tasty. However, for trendy dishes like salted egg sauce, cheese, and Thai-style steamed, the seasoning isn't quite right yet, but it's forgivable because it's not too salty. Overall, I can come back to this eatery to enjoy more dishes here because the seafood is extremely fresh.
After reading reviews, I came to support. The snail dish was okay. I ordered half a stingray, equivalent to 9 taels. Oh my god, it was so fishy and pungent that I couldn't stand it. I Googled the reason: it wasn't fresh, had gone bad, and wasn't cleaned properly. I really couldn't swallow it. It's not cheap, so why do business like this? I will never come again. Sharing so everyone can be careful when ordering.
A paradise for shell lovers. The green crabs and meat crabs here are carefully sorted, each one is firm and full of roe. In addition to the traditional steamed with lemongrass, the restaurant also offers sweet and sour tamarind crab or extremely fragrant garlic butter crab. The chef's cooking skills are excellent, keeping the crab meat moist and not dry. The restaurant also provides a full set of professional shell-cracking tools, making seafood enjoyment easier and more complete.
The price of Tiger beer 330ml is quite high, the food is cooked quite salty and not tasty, among the 6 dishes ordered only the fish salad is delicious, the rest are not good.

A5 Seafood Diving Eatery is a typical Đà Nẵng-style casual drinking spot: simple plastic tables and chairs, sitting close to the sidewalk but with a very airy and lively atmosphere. The seafood here is fresh, the hot pot is steaming with shrimp, fish, and green vegetables served with vermicelli, quite generous, and the broth is rich and easy to eat. The seafood salad mixed with onion, herbs, and peanuts is also quite appetizing, pairing well with Larue beer for a proper "lai rai" (slow drinking) style. Prices are generally reasonable, suitable for a group of friends gathering in the evening, eating while watching the streets. If you like a casual drinking spot, not fancy but with decent food and a comfortable atmosphere, this is a place worth trying.
Reading reviews, I saw people praising it. Went to eat, service was poor, the hot pot had just a few pieces of meat and vegetables. Staff kept ordering items but never brought them out.
The toppings are okay, the food is also okay, but the hot pot is both sour and bland, really bad. The service staff have faces like they're at a funeral, and paying the bill is also slow. Truly.

Every dish is fresh and well-seasoned, the staff are enthusiastic and friendly. I find the prices quite reasonable compared to many famous eateries in Da Nang. You should give it a try. My family doesn't eat much, so we spent no more than 1 million VND for 4 people; if you eat more, the price ranges from 300k/person upwards. At the end of the meal, the restaurant also gives free seaweed soup, which is delicious 🤤
