The fried filter cakes are very tasty, worth trying; the fermented pork roll is a bit sweet for my taste. The eatery served the wrong dish to our table, but I had already eaten it, so it's fine, because the different types of pressed cakes look quite similar. So, everyone should check the order carefully and when the dishes are served, ask the staff what kind of pressed cake it is to avoid confusion. The self-service vegetable counter is clean, and the pickled vegetables are good. The dipping sauce includes both sweet and sour fish sauce and fermented anchovy sauce. Many branches, easy to choose.
The eatery is quite spacious, with parking for motorbikes and cars. The banh ep (pressed cake) is okay, with many flavors to choose from. Other snacks are also decent, but the nem nuong (grilled fermented pork roll) is bad—the nem is not tasty, too sweet, and overly sugary. The eatery has various dipping sauces like sweet and sour fish sauce, fermented anchovy sauce, and other snacks also come with different dips. If you're looking for a Hue-style snack in Da Nang, this is not a bad choice.

The shop is clean, the food is delicious. But for the roll-your-own spring roll station and the fish sauce, it's self-service. I wish the staff had mentioned it to customers, because the day I went in, I didn't notice, so I didn't know to get the items 😅. The shop also sells dried pressed rice paper and is near the airport, very convenient if you need to buy souvenirs.

The local eatery I think you should order the traditional pressed cake of the restaurant to fully experience the flavor more than other flavors. Dried beef salad is not black dried beef, everyone consider, but the dishes are seasoned just right, must try dipping with fermented anchovy sauce, absolutely amazing. Went with 3 people, at the time there was our table plus another table, making a total of 2 tables. Ordered a few dishes but waited over an hour. The steamed egg in a cup was already bad, and there was even grit in it. I'm from Hue and came here to study. I saw the restaurant had decent reviews, so I invited my friends to go. After going once, there will never be a second time.

Pressed cake is okay, pickled vegetables and dipping sauce are self-served freely, there is a small counter on the side. It's also fine if you go eat with friends.
Regarding the taste compared to a person from Hanoi, I find the banh ep quite delicious, balanced between batter, vegetables, and meat :D the service is average, not too slow, and the food prices are also affordable.
