great and delicious local noodles Cao Lau, one of the best shop in Da Nang
Delicious, clean, highly recommended!
A review from someone who really hates cao lầu. Up until now, cao lầu to me has been a dish where the noodles are both hard and dry, the char siu is dry and reeks of five-spice powder, and the bowl is small and not filling (though I've never finished a bowl, and these are all local Hoi An eateries). This morning, cao lầu was added to my breakfast list with a note: have to wake up early to go eat. I don't really want to review it because I'm afraid it'll get too crowded and I won't be able to eat, but I can't help it. In short, 10/10, no buts.
The Cao lầu here is very delicious and authentic, the accompanying vegetables are also good. The eatery is clean, the space is small and cute, playing soft instrumental music, sitting and eating while listening to chill music.
Absolutely delightful little specialty spot for authentic Cao Lầu. It is a fresh and clean taste of goodness. I love the crunchy pork skin, and the heavier pork flavor pairs well with milder noodles—feel free to add in the usual spices to your preference from there. The breakfast vibe, esp the background music was soothing and perfect with a cool, green, and calm setting. Ignore the comments about long waits; they are not justified. It is a repeat.
The shop is clean and cool. The broth is a bit bland, the roasted pork is a bit salty. Service is very slow; I went for breakfast and had to wait 30-40 minutes to get it, wasting the whole weekend morning. They don't serve in order but serve acquaintances first. Strangers are served later. The space is cool, with soft music, so it's less annoying.
The shop is always clean, everyone. I recommend coming here. One bowl is only 35k but very rich, suits the taste of Central people. The char siu is marinated quite deliciously and is juicy, not dry at all. The fresh herbs are clean, and ordering extra is free. The shop also brews vối tea or maybe đậu ván tea, I'm not sure, but after eating, drinking it makes your mouth extremely fragrant.
Very delicious, I find it even more delicious than the local ng eatery only in Hoi An
So delicious, I've eaten countless bowls here. Better than many eateries in Hoi An.
Authentic old town flavor, very delicious
so delicious huhuhu, traveled from Hanoi to Da Nang just for this eatery 😭
The food is also OK, I highly appreciate the atmosphere of the restaurant. On weekends, my family visits, enjoying cao lầu slowly with the crackling sound of classical music, quite chill.
Delicious Cao lầu
Super delicious, clean. The shop sells from 6am-10am but sometimes sells out early
Delicious restaurant, clean, the owner is extremely dedicated.
Service is too slow, waited 20 minutes to get food
Excellent
Cao lầu is very delicious and rich in flavor. The eatery is clean, polite, and cozy. The owner is friendly. On weekends, it's crowded with customers, sometimes you have to queue to get a seat.
The place is cool, hygienic, and clean; it's an eatery but resembles a cafe style, so you can see the owner's dedication. The Cao Lau is delicious, regular bowl 30k, children's bowl 20k.
Delicious, clean eatery. Very worth trying.
Hidden gem in Da Nang. Should call ahead to ask because on some days the shop sells out very quickly, usually on Saturdays and Sundays.
Delicious restaurant, quiet space
Delicious, so you should try it
Quite okay
