Loved the home-style food at this small family restaurant. Beef pancake, pho, grilled pork (satays) and home-grown vegetables all delicious and amazing value. Perfect if you are staying nearby and don’t want to continue old town!😋👍
Friendly, welcoming family restaurant that had my tastebuds dancing. Amazing food would highly recommend the beef pancakes and grill pork combo! Put the chilli sauce in your dipping sauce and enjoy each moment! I’d visit Vietnam for this food alone!! Missing my dog, I also loved the beautiful pet dogs that welcomed us too.
This was the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever eaten. It was clean and tasty and the venue was packed with people (always a good sign). Would recommend and will be going back again.
The banh xeo was absolutely delicious! The owner was incredibly friendly and even showed us the garden across from the restaurant where many of the vegetables are grown. It was great to see how fresh and locally sourced the ingredients are. Combined with the tasty food, warm hospitality, and clean environment, this place is an easy recommendation. What more could you ask for?
Super traditionelles und leckeres Essen, sowohl für Fleisch Liebhaber als auch für Vegetarier. Preis Leistung der Hammer und super toll abgeschmeckt. Sehr zu empfehlen
We were lucky enough to be staying near this little restaurant it was full of local people which is a sign it must be good .Its out of the tourist area down a lane way but well worth the effort. We came for the Banh xeo and it was excellent best we have had .Service was fast and efficient the restaurant is very clean and hygienic. The greens for the Banh xeo are picked across the lane way in the garden its a true farm to plate experience everything was fresh and delicious and a truly great experience will definitely be back again
This is a very local, home-style spot—run by a family right in their own yard. Super authentic and down-to-earth. Their signature is a local “pancake” (more like a savory egg pancake) topped with beef or pork and salted shrimp. What makes it special is how you eat it: it comes with ultra-thin rice paper and a big plate of fresh herbs and leafy greens. You wrap the pancake, greens, and skewers in the rice paper, then dip everything into their homemade sauce. The combination is really unique and delicious—fresh, savory, and packed with aroma. The skewers are great too: a large platter with marinated pork skewers, plus another standout made from minced pork on lemongrass sticks. Both are best enjoyed with the herbs and veggies. The beef salad (stir-fried beef with salad greens) was just okay—dressed with a Japanese-style roasted sesame dressing, not as memorable as the wraps and skewers. Overall, the flavors are very local and the owners are super friendly. Definitely worth trying for an authentic experience.
banh xeo was so good and affordable!
Sehr lecker und freundlicher lokal laden.
Third time here I’m obsessed . So so good!מקום ככ טעים אני מוצאת את עצמי חוזרת כל הזמן לפה
Just editing this review one year later....... Just have to say that this place gets better and better. We spend a lot of time in Hoi An and visit this fabulous place regularly. Standard of food is consistently super fresh and tasty, lovely friendly family and we love the cold beer. Added bonus there is now a toilet on sure. What a lovely family run restaurant at the front of their house down a lane way. Incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a variety of local specialties which were super fresh and tasty. They also sell cold beer and soft drinks. Highly recommend and we will be back.
Pancakes were wayyy too oily for my liking :/
Great local dishes, the eatery grows a herb garden that always provides fresh herbs to eat, so satisfying.
Delicious food, full portion. After eating, the owner also gave us takeaway cakes.
Delicious, clean, and reasonably priced
Friendly hostess, delicious food
Clean, hygienic, reasonable price
We came back after two years because of the Google rating, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The egg fried rice portion was very small for 60k, the pork & shrimp bánh xèo had only a few small pieces of pork and was extremely greasy, and some of the pork skewers were undercooked. One skewer even had a chef's HAIR in it. Peanut sauce had weird taste as well. Dogs are cute but one took a dump on the carpet and tipped over the garbage bin and no one even reacted. They kindly provided extra salad, but overall our 300k dinner was not worth the price.
The local banh xeo eatery is very worth experiencing; it's a family-run shop so the price is reasonable and delicious, especially the clean vegetables grown at home are very tasty.
Delicious dishes with affordable prices. Cozy design and comfortable tables! I recommend it. I especially recommend the avocado smoothie. It can be a full meal, not just a drink 😀 high quality.
It must be because it's the off-season... They only served it slightly warm, so I just left most of it. ㅠㅠ
I really like this restaurant. The vegetables are fresh and clean, the food is delicious. I come here to eat very often.
Great, delicious and aromatic food made by a very nice owner with a passion for cooking. The set for two will satisfy anyone craving authentic Vietnamese flavors. There are optional extras to enhance the taste, which is often missing in other restaurants.
The cake was better than expected, I finished eating it before remembering to review
