Da Nang Accelerates High-Speed Connecting Road Project to Chu Lai

On the afternoon of June 15, the Da Nang Party Standing Committee held a specialized conference to review the plan for using financial resources from land fund exploitation to generate investment capital for the High-Speed Connecting Road project from the city center to Chu Lai. This is one of the key projects, contributing to connecting transportation infrastructure between Da Nang and neighboring provinces.

This road is expected to shorten travel time from Da Nang city center to Chu Lai Airport (Quang Nam), providing convenience for locals and tourists. Currently, traveling between the two locations usually takes about 1.5-2 hours, but with the high-speed connecting road, the time could be significantly reduced. The project is also seen as a lever for developing tourism, trade, and logistics for the central coastal region.

To ensure progress, the Party Standing Committee requested relevant departments and agencies to urgently complete investment procedures, especially identifying capital sources from land funds. Effective exploitation of land along the route will help create sustainable revenue and reduce budget pressure. With this determination, the project promises to be implemented soon, bringing practical benefits to local residents and businesses.
