Workshop 'The Face of Vietnamese Cinema in the Renewal Era' within the Framework of DANAFF IV

On the afternoon of June 29, within the framework of the fourth Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF IV), the city’s People’s Committee, in coordination with the Vietnam Film Development and Promotion Association (VFDA), organized a themed workshop titled 'The Face of Vietnamese Cinema in the Renewal Era'. The event attracted keen interest from a large number of filmmakers and domestic and international experts attending DANAFF IV.

The workshop focused on discussions about the changes and directions of Vietnamese cinema in the context of integration and renewal. Delegates shared perspectives on product quality, competitiveness in the international market, as well as the role of cinema in promoting local culture and tourism. This was an opportunity for film professionals to connect, learn from experiences, and contribute to elevating the status of Vietnamese cinema on the Asian map.
