DANAFF IV Delegation Pays Homage to Martyrs at Da Nang Memorial

On the morning of June 28, one day before the opening of the 4th Da Nang Asia Film Festival (DANAFF IV) in 2026, a delegation from the festival held a solemn ceremony at the city's Memorial. Leading the delegation were Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, along with Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Film Development Promotion Association, and directors, artists, actors, and filmmakers from both Vietnam and abroad.

The delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate and express gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation. The ceremony demonstrated deep gratitude and also affirmed the spirit of "remembering the source when drinking water" on the eve of a major film culture event of the city. Holding this ritual just before DANAFF IV shows the integration of cultural and tourism development with traditional values.

DANAFF IV will take place in Da Nang in the coming days, promising to gather many quality film works and the participation of famous artists. Today's incense offering ceremony serves as a meaningful and sacred start to a successful film festival season.
