Vietnam's Ambassador to Italy: Da Nang Could Be a Model for Vietnam-Italy Local Cooperation
On the afternoon of June 12, as part of a working trip to the Republic of Italy, a delegation from Da Nang City led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh held a meeting with the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy. During the meeting, Vietnam's Ambassador expressed his hope that Da Nang would become a model for local-level cooperation between Vietnam and Italy.
The meeting took place against the backdrop of increasingly strong bilateral relations, especially in the fields of economy, culture, and tourism. The Ambassador praised Da Nang's potential as a dynamic city and an attractive destination, capable of serving as a bridge to promote local cooperation, thereby creating successful models that could be replicated nationwide.
The Da Nang side also highlighted the city's unique strengths, including modern infrastructure, a favorable investment environment, and coastal tourism potential. Both sides discussed specific cooperation opportunities, particularly in tourism, cultural exchange, and the development of high-quality human resources. This is seen as an important step to strengthen friendly relations and open new directions for cooperation between Da Nang and Italian partners in the coming time.
