Da Nang Accelerates National Target Programs to Narrow Regional Development Gaps
The Da Nang Party Committee’s Standing Board has just issued Directive No. 19-CT/TU (dated June 12, 2026) to boost the implementation of national target programs in the city for the period 2026–2035. Key programs include new rural development, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
The directive requires departments, agencies, and localities to focus resources on narrowing development gaps between regions, especially rural and mountainous areas. The city will prioritize infrastructure investment and livelihood improvement for residents, while integrating community-based tourism development and preservation of indigenous culture. This is a crucial step toward inclusive growth, ensuring no one is left behind.
For residents and visitors, this move promises many positive changes. The suburban communes and Hoa Vang District could become model rural destinations with green, clean, and beautiful spaces. Traditional villages will be preserved and combined with eco-tourism experiences, opening new exploration opportunities for those who love community-based tourism in Da Nang.
