Da Nang Directs Disbursement Acceleration, Promotes Cashless Payments, and Plans 2026 Vietnam-Japan Festival
On June 12, the Da Nang City People's Committee, together with its Chairman and Vice Chairmen, held an important meeting and issued a series of notable directives, including the plan to organize the Vietnam-Japan Festival in Da Nang in 2026. This event is expected to attract a large number of tourists and businesses from both countries, contributing to cultural exchange and economic cooperation.
In addition, the city leaders instructed departments and agencies to urgently accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital plans in line with Directive 05-CT/TU. This move aims to ensure efficient use of funds and boost the progress of key projects, thereby driving local economic growth.
Another notable content is the promotion of cashless payments for pension and social insurance allowance disbursements. This not only brings convenience to beneficiaries but also aligns with the city’s digital transformation trend. Additionally, the People's Committee is implementing Government Decree No. 356 on the enforcement of the Personal Data Protection Law to enhance information security in the digital age.
These directives demonstrate the Da Nang government's determination to both develop the economy and improve people's lives while preparing for major cultural events. Residents and visitors can look forward to an increasingly modern and friendly city in the near future.
