We went out for Pho Bo but the restaurant was closed (Tet) so we chose this place thinking it sold Pho Bo. Little did we know Pho Oc translates to “snail street” 😂. The staff and locals are very friendly and accomodating, we were the only tourists there and the place was crowded. We had steam boat was was good and affordable, thank you 👍
Fresh, delicious and super affordable. Love it here!
A normal street café, nothing special. Portions are small, but the prices are low as well. But be prepared — if you’re European, the portions will feel very small, and you’ll need to order several dishes. Very authentic, and probably exotic for tourists. The café is located right by the road, and you sit on small plastic stools, as is common in Vietnam. Overall, a normal experience.
this place is quite popular and has been reviewed by many tiktokers. the prices are student-friendly and reasonable. i recommend trying three dishes: stir-fried apple snails with lemongrass and chili, grilled cheese-topped babylon snails, and grilled oysters with cheese served with bread. the flavors were rich enough that i didn’t even need the dipping sauces. the place gets pretty crowded, but the staff are incredibly friendly.
A very good choice for the more exotic (from a western perspective) kind of authentic Vietnamese food. The squeezed frog with laksa leaves was just fantastic. I used delivery via Grab and the three dishes I ordered were packed safely. Portions are good, especially considering the very affordable prices.
