Da Nang Launches Free Health Check Program for All Residents in 2026

On June 5, Da Nang officially launched a program offering periodic health checks and free screenings for residents. This initiative aims to provide healthcare for all citizens and is being deployed in the first three localities: Hoa Khanh ward, Son Cam Ha commune, and Tra Leng commune.

According to the plan, the program will organize free periodic check-up sessions, helping residents receive general health examinations and early disease screenings. This is the first step of a larger campaign that aims to cover all districts and counties in the city in the coming time.

The selection of the three above-mentioned localities as pilot sites aims to evaluate effectiveness and refine procedures, after which the program will be expanded to other areas. Residents in the selected communes and wards can visit medical stations or mobile check-up points according to the local schedule.
