Da Nang to Survey Demand for Renting and Buying Social Housing and Worker Accommodation in June
From June 1 to June 30, 2026, the Da Nang Department of Construction is officially conducting a survey on the demand for renting and buying social housing and renting worker accommodation in industrial parks. This move aims to grasp the current situation and actual needs of residents, thereby providing a basis for formulating appropriate housing development policies.
This survey targets workers currently employed in the city's industrial parks and export processing zones, as well as those with a need for social housing. The collected information will help authorities assess the housing shortage and propose new investment projects for construction, or renovation and upgrades of existing housing areas.
Da Nang is an attractive destination not only for tourists but also for workers from many provinces. Ensuring stable, reasonably priced accommodation for workers and low-income residents is a key factor in helping the city maintain its workforce for the service, tourism, and manufacturing sectors. Survey results are expected to be released in the coming period, serving as a basis for social housing policy decisions.
