Da Nang Strengthens Cooperation with France on Urban Planning and Public Transport
To learn from countries with modern urban planning systems, the leadership of Da Nang City undertook a working visit to the French Republic from May 31 to June 2. The delegation, led by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Quang Nam, held working sessions with several leading French corporations and organizations in the fields of urban planning, public transport, and railways.
The visit aimed to boost bilateral cooperation and exchange advanced solutions that can be applied to Da Nang's development. French partners shared successful models of integrating public transport with green, smart urban spaces. This is an opportunity for Da Nang to absorb international knowledge and experience, serving its future sustainable urban planning strategy.
Da Nang is undergoing rapid urbanization, and learning from developed countries like France will help the city avoid common mistakes while building an efficient public transport system, improving residents' quality of life and attracting tourists. The working visit is expected to open up specific cooperative projects in the near future.
