Nearly 300 Students Compete at Central Highlands and Central Region Student Singing Festival

On the evening of June 5, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened the 2026 Student Singing Festival for the Central Region and Central Highlands at Duy Tan University (Da Nang). The event attracted nearly 300 contestants, including students from provinces and cities in the region.

This year's festival has the theme "Vietnamese Identity – Aspiration to Reach Far," aiming to honor the beauty of national culture and awaken pride in the younger generation. Attending the opening ceremony were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy and Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee Huynh Thi Thuy Dung. The competition performances ranged from folk songs and revolutionary music to modern songs praising the homeland and the country.

This is a beneficial music playground for students, and it also helps discover and nurture young artistic talents. The festival is also an opportunity for young people to exchange, learn, and strengthen solidarity among localities. For Da Nang, cultural events like this further enrich the spiritual life of residents and tourists.
